zomg lets see whoz fasterer n maek dee udder guy run out of timeee

  • hmm...riviting..

  • What the heck? Like bipolar players or something. Warm up over eh? Okay, let's play as fast as we can... I'm so confused

  • Nxc4 Nb6 Nd2? is too passive for me, and the last 30 seconds or so was too fast to be validified. With pieces on their sides, I can't tell what they did. If they were playing fair and well then kudos!

  • Nxc4 Nb6 Nd2? is too passive for me

  • Voi vittu.....

  • the last remaining minute...wtf

  • who has actually win the game?

  • how the fuck did they know what the pieces were doing at the end? lol, there were pieces flying everwhere...hahahahha

  • lol analog

  • Many times see a great move & then a better move, possibly.... for some reason do the opposite of what meant to do & mess up - I just like to kill those knights ASAP - do not like them!

  • Holy fucking END o.O

  • rofl those last moments there were probably a ton of illegal moves. the Finnish association should consider using weighted heavy duty plastic pieces, should cost less than those wooden sets

  • LOL at the last 30 seconds. Well done.

  • why do they play with those clocks?

  • I never thought a chess video would be so funny. It's almost looks like they are just doing random moves. I would say it was a fake game if I didn't know better.

  • chess games CAN get pretty intense!

  • great game of chess fellas

  • i don´t get the last part haha it´s like anyone could cheat and they doesnt even notice

  • At the end, MOST of the pieces were knocked down! LOL.

  • ahhaahahahaha KNFEAWSGANEIORGHNEAR PODDIT

LOOK AT THE END, GEK MANNETES :@:@:@

  • hahaha anarchy chess at the end.

  • Bliztchess ok. The other guy was Jan Ristoja who is very powerfull blitzplayer!! nevermind!!

  • And in the end, it is the most sloppiest moves that win.

  • did you see queen for queen.. with both knights lol..

when he lost the queen he put up his sleeves..lol

  • hahaha, they are just throwing the pieces at random spots.

  • bitch chess. black had it from the opening. it wouldn't have spiraled down to that if you'd taked your time and made the right moves instead of worrying about material. 0/0

  • 4:33 was a tricky situation for white if you look at the board

  • good game until the end! i was so upset to see them making so many illegal moves but then I laughed it off!

  • Have you ever seen Dragon Ball Z? Well imagine that in real life. And with a chess board.

  • Nice Stuff. Tossi Hyvaa! Moving two (2!) pieces at the same time in the endgame. Very creative! Fail!

  • So violent at the end o_o

  • at 9:00 : Chess players on crack

  • @adhdboy699 I mean 9:12

  • @adhdboy699 when time is running out thats what you gotta do..lol

  • lmfaoo what the fuck happen at the end there?? is that normal to go all crazy bananas or did the video fast forward ???

  • finland sucks in chess.

  • What the hell... its true ?

  • haha the last sort of 20 seconds of the match i couldnt keep up at all!

  • 41.Nd4 Qb6 42.Qc3 Nc4 43.a4 Nd6 44.axb5 e5 45.Nc6 Nxb5 46.Ne7+ Kf8 47.Nd5 Bxd5 48.Qc8+ Ke7 49.exd5 Qc7 50.Qxc7+ Nxc7 51.Kf1 Kd6 52.Ke2 f5 53.Ke3 g5 54.f4 gxf4+ 55.gxf4 e4 56.Bxe4 Ne8 57.Bxf5 Nf6 58.h4 h5 59.Bg6 Nxd5+ 60.Kd4 Ne7 61.Bxh5 Nc6+ 62.Kc4 Ne7 63.Bf7 Nc8 64.Bd5 Nb6+ 65.Kd4 Nxd5 66.b5 Nc7 67.f5 Nxb5+ 68.Ke4 Nc7 69.h5 Ne8 70.h6 Nf6+ 71.Kf4 Nh5+ 72.Kg5 Ng3 73.h7 Ne4+ 74.Kg6 Ke5 75.h8Q+ Kf4 76.Qd4 Kf3 77.Qxe4+ Kxe4

And here, white plays both f6 and Kg7 simultaneously, and is disqualified.

  • @RussellsParadox

I'm going to stick with pro starcraft.

  • Playing chess makes you crazy.

    That's a fact and I'm a doctor

  • Is not make you crazy, is that you are and then you like chess, that is common knowledge.

  • Playing chess makes you smart

thats a fact and i'm a chess player

  • explain me please what is that box thing they touch every time they make a move

  • A timer. If the timer runs out for either player, they lose.

  • @chasing91a..............if white pawn takes Knight then after black pawn takes pawn the black pawn is attacking the Queen and also the Rook is attacking the White Rook on a1 ....so Black wins loads material.

  • (about 16th move) white pawn takes black knight....but white missed it?

  • guy on the other side was moving his piece on the other persons time. pretty sure that's against the rules.

  • WTF happened in the end?

  • knigth e6?!!

  • Comment removed

  • I don't get it either...

  • Those two are bad players, sorry but is true. hehehe

  • Let's sit down for a relaxing game of chess :D

  • Chess is for faggots? This coming from the guy that thinks dungeon keeper is a sick game, wants to suck Al Pacino cock, a white boy who thinks 50 has street cred, born in AZ, Likes Ex, doesn't like it when people are jerks to animal, but has no problem being a jerk himself. Keep running your mouth, dumbass

  • Well it's depends upon your interest of the game

  • Yo fuck you Az is legit. You are just mad cause you don't have the nice weather we get. But yeah everything else I agree with lawls

  • Arizona does not have nice weather... I'd say winter is pretty fine though. But other than that, it sucks major cawk

  • haaa que partida tan mas aburrida creo q hay mov de mas en esta mmm en fin gracias por el video☺

  • Estaba normal hsta que se alocaron XDD.Asu me perdi en es marañ de movimientos

  • lol wow wth at the end they just start going fast as hell

  • I was laughing with tears in my eyes! So, where is the postmortem?

  • BOOM BOOOM BOOM! HAHAHAHA

  • hahahahah coloquem em 9;20...

    kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • amazing game, haha...

  • This match was like watching grass grow for 9 1/2 minutes until suddenly a mecha bursts out of nowhere and destroys everything.

  • yeah I know!

  • In a pro chess game what kind of peices do they use plastic, wooden, glass, marble?

  • Wood i think but very shiny

  • Wood or plastic.

  • Most likely plastic, weighted tournament standard pieces. You don't usually see wood pieces being used on a vinyl board. I could be wrong though.

  • everything was going nice and smooth until about 9:12.....and then both these muhfuckas lost it!!!...pieces flyin everywere, smashin clocks, kings n pawns on their sides rollin around..just chaos lol ...

Great end game though..i think white won the game after that rook swap @ 8:00..black had split pawns.

  • haha you forgot the board moving to everywhere xD

  • @htentceo THEY WERE GOING NUTS!

  • is that a serious game?

  • what the hell happened at end?

  • they were both low on time

  • I watched the ending twice...and I've come to the conclusion this was bughouse?! Notice pieces are thrown onto the chessboard like crazy at the end. There's no way this was a regular blitz game. The ending suggests this was a bughouse match.

  • are you kidding?

  • I won chess three times in a row at school today. The first game was only about 2 minutes.

  • LUCKY!! they dont have chess at my school.

  • lol you are such a NERD hehe

  • If you want real speed check out check outcheck outcheck outcheck outcheck outcheck outcheck outcheck outcheck outcheck outcheck out

    "chess standoff russia vs china"

  • they both suck

  • FMs suck?

  • cool!, check out "Relapse"2-player board game by Jeffery A. Krueger

  • besides that, that was the slowest blitz game i've ever seem, that is until that whole chinese fire drill thing at the end.

  • at 9:41 instead of 1)...Nh5? 1)...Nh7! draw game. If 2)f6 Ke6 pawns dead. If 2)Kg4 Ke5 pawns dead.

If 2)Ke5 Nf6+ 3)Kf4 Nh7(again) or obviously if the white king moves backwards his pawn is stranded.

  • That last was dummy, but fun ^^

  • black had draw at the end, before the king got to the g column

  • I know the black player he´s my friend.

    Jan Ristoja is his name.

  • wow @ the last 30 seconds

  • the end is crazy lol

  • bit crazy at the end pieces all over the place

  • do the computers think better when you give them more time?

  • That's a damn good question

  • No, it's not lol. Yes, of course they think better. If you give them more time and unlimited number of moves to think, of course.

  • if you give the minimun time for them to process the information ( like 1 second or something) theres no need to give more time , they will always do the same move

  • Er, no. If you let them think longer, they will maybe find out a move that probably is better.

  • computers dont think , after they process tghe information once they come up with solutions and choose the best regardless of the time after that

  • Do you think that they can just pick one move that is absolute better than any other move without doubt? It may seek maybe 10 steps forward in 5 seconds, then it becomes slower and slower. The longer it thinks, the better move. It can think in 3 seconds and decide what move it will make. Then it can change its "mind" 2 seconds later. I have even seen this using xboard.

Do you think the computer stops thinking if it have unlimited time? It does not. It never stops thinking without a time limit..

  • Okay, it doesn't "think". It "processes information". But if you are right, computers would always win because they would always know the perfect move and exactly how to win a game from the start. It doesn't work that way.

  • after he reachs all possibilities, he stops "thinking"

  • When "he" has "reached all possibillities", it knows that it will be check mate. That's all. Then it doesn't have to think anymore, just move. However, when it doesn't see any check mate and unlimited time, then it keeps thinking. This is extremely logical and normal and if you don't understand that, you are weird.

  • "...However, when it doesn't see any check mate and unlimited time, then it keeps thinking" until "he" gives check mate

    lol

  • what?

  • This is extremely logical and normal and if you don't understand that, you are weird.

    lol

  • Yes?

  • in regular chess sometimes people take 1+ hours to move. many lines to calculate, more time can always result in better calculation

  • darkdude110 probably has a small dick, no life, has never gotten laid, is a short guy with napoleon complex, is unintelligent, eats yellow snow, or a combination of all above things.

  • What happened at the end there? Black could only draw, but who ran out of time?

  • Why do people play timed chess? I play with no time limit, it makes the game way more interesting. Besides, it does not matter how fast you win, it is that you win.

  • If you are retired then no time limit is an option. But we must have some time of end time to get on with our lives. Something like ten minutes. However speed chess (2 minutes or less)removes all beauty of the game for me.

  • I am still in high school, and dad and I play games that go on for at least 5 hours. Playing fast only allows for more mistakes. The beauty of the game as you call it, can truly be seen in a 13 hour game.

  • measures your brain's capacity to think in a limited time. its also more challenging.

  • How? by playing fast, and taking chances?

All that proves is that you can make quick decisions, not good ones. As I said, it ruins the game.

  • it helps you think the best strategy to play in the fastest time.

  • 5 hours? Stop trying to sound cool, I can guarantee that I can evaluate a much better game than you in 1 hour for your 5.

Blitz is a different style. It requires quick thinking... and strong nerves.

Standard Time (Orthodox Chess) is good for deep calculations. I am almost FIDE master

Chess960 (Unorthodox Chess) is the best- chess as it was meant to be. Random back-rank starting positions.

People who memorize openings are lost since they dont truly understand the game. Live and die by skill.

  • I agree, they all have their own pluses.

Its just like the difference between indoor soccer and normal.

One is faster and admittadly a bit more of an adrenilan rush, while the other. Well is just amazing.

  • I am not trying to sound cool, that is truely how long our games take.

I do not memorise openings, or pawn formations, or any of that bullocks.

My style of play is on a level beyond memorisation, it is a blend of intuition, skill, and art. I do not just play the pieces and the board, I play my opponents mind.

  • Thank you for giving me a great laugh. It is ridiculous to think that a few years ago i was in this same stage of life. Can you say: "elitist"?

I have enough foresight to defeat strong chess programs and rated masters. I'm curious to see just how you would "play with my mind". You are trying too hard to sound like Waitzkin, "chess is poetry, chess is art".

Let's play a match.. pogo, freechess, w/e you pick the time controls. You can even use computer if you like. Let me know artist.

  • You can not play someones mind over the internet, it requires a great deal of practice. To cause your opponent to subconsciously tell you there next move.

You would probably win, I hate online chess, I need the person across from me.

When you play online, do you set up a board in front of you? If you don't, try it, it made my online play way better than what it was, although it still sucks.

You don't need a great deal of skill to beat a computer, no computer can ever beat a human.

  • I do prefer face to face, but online is ok too.

"You don't need a great deal of skill to beat a comp"... do you read what you type? Winchess may be a joke, but play something like Rybka and you're in for an insanely strong opponent (I bet rybka would wipe the floor with you).

As Fischer once said, "I don't believe in psychology. I believe in good moves", I suggest you think about that. In a face to face encounter, your "psychic powers" wouldn't phase me at all.

  • I am not saying that I am a mind reader, but people do, although they are unaware of it, give away there next move. Not always, but sometimes. Note that is not poker BS I am talking Derren brown kind of stuff. I got caught trying to influence a guy's moves once and got kicked out of the tournament, no rules against NLP but okay.

When I say a computer can't beat a human, I was making a deep blue joke, we all know it cheated.

I have never heard of rybka, is it downloadabel or dou you need a CD?

  • I am aware of Derren Brown, I'm actually a fan of sorts. His NLP is quite good.. As for giving away my moves, when I give my move away, and you see the plan, it is usually too late.. only against masters and stronger do I find harder games. I have went on stage before during a group hypnosis performance and the guy kicked me off.. maybe that says something.

Regarding rybka, ill send you a PM ..

  • Derren is better than me, but, do you think I should have been kicked out for making my opponent move where I wanted?

I tried the paying with paper thing at Tim Hortons like 20 minutes a go, dad made me go back, but it worked! Next stop Russian scam!

Once you PM me I will download it and tell you how I make out. I can beat Battle master Chess 3 gd on hardest when the search depth for moves is maxed. If you are as good as you say you are, you should find it easy.

  • I play at the point now where chessmaster will fight to draw with me. My rating speaks for itself, if I wasnt doing grad school, I could spend more time on chess and it would be much higher.

I'm still telling you though, there is no way I would be influenced by any sort of hypnotism, especially in a serious game where I am only concentrating on making strong moves. I've already tried hypnosis, but was forced off stage.

  • I don't think that I should have been kicked out, though, when you think about it all I was doing was making suggestions. It was there choice to take them.

    What method did you use?

If you think you are about to be asked to leave, try to manipulate your opponent to knock over his king, don't pay attention to a thing the official are saying. Until you are forced from the table it isin't over.

When in doubt, use the Jedi mind trick: "you will resign". Use hand wave as anchor, it does work.

  • I'm not aiming this at you directly btw, I just wanted to chuck it in the middle of the discussion, even if it's probably tailed out by now.

  • What is NLP?

  • Lol Membersacc is talking rubbish. Even if he could work out what your next move was by muscle-reading, it wouldn't make a difference, since chess is a 100% information game and everyone can see everything on the board. From seeing what your next move will be he will still not be able to see into your mind to discover the actual reasoning behind the moves.

He also says he can beat like battlemaster chess 3d or soemthing on hard. LOL. Try a real engine rather than some tutorial program.

  • Membersacc: "I do not just play the pieces and the board, I play my opponents mind."

"You don't need a great deal of skill to beat a computer, no computer can ever beat a human."

Those comments gave me a good laugh. I suppose the moron outplays the computers using his mind tricks lol! This is chess - not poker. Even current grandmasters cannot compete with modern computers without handicaps. But I'm sure that he's much better than stupid grandmasters and world champions with his mind tricks.

  • The computer thing was a play on how deep blue cheated.

It is not about the moves on the board, it is about the moves in your mind.

  • Hey, why not make a video with you doing this kind of stuff?

  • Because, as I have mentioned on other posts, I ma currently without a camera. As it was badly damaged while I was in china.

  • He's not trying to sound like Waitzkin. More like Derren Brown...

  • wow

  • oh lol

  • what a great finnish

  • hehe i came to the move 55. gxf4

but cant see what happenz next^^ can someone help me?)

  • lmao ending was funny

  • hahahah how great hahaa

  • I think thats not chess...

  • blitz rules,, don't piece man fall.

  • 47. Nd5?? (47. Qxe5) Nxc3!! Game over.

  • If 47... Nxc3, then 48. Nxb6, game far from over.

  • wow... can we see the ending in Bullet Time plz rofl!

  • Omg the ending was HILARIOUS!!!

  • What's up with that crazy ending??? LOL.

  • Lmao wtf i lmao'd

  • wtf who wins?

  • white wins.black is left with a king while white is left with a king and a pawn.

  • rofl there were like several pieces just lying around on the board by the end of it. too bad chess players don't have the co-ordination to match their intellect

  • That's why blitz chess at tournaments have rules. Rules that makes sense like you can't make your move on your opponent's time. (He has to hit the clock b4 you can move). You can't start your opponent's clock until the position on the board is the same position after your move was made (can't knock stuff over/shift pieces and start his clock) can't move with 2 hands. Thats why this looks very ametureish gmae.

  • I never knew there was a rule about waiting for him to hit the clock. I thought you just had to wait for them to take their hand off the piece.

  • dude i dont know why they stressing like that at the end but it was pretty funny to see

  • They had 5 mins each for the whole game, they rushed at the end coz they only had a few seconds left (if you run out of time u lose). at the end white made a queen and black surrended.

  • what about they have 10 minute? :P video last 10 min lol

  • 5 minutes each :D 5+5=10

  • oh lol

  • No, white lost on time, because white was

in check when he threw pieces back on the board

  • hehe, true, i didnt heared that, shame, white had a winning position.

  • wow! the board moved! lol

  • it looked liked they were just throwin pieces at each other, who won?

  • whoa, the ending was just kind of crazy

  • White could have taken the knight without risk.

  • I lied. A bishop was on f1, not a queen. :|
