  • Beautiful Coin! Nothing Like Seeing Silver Peek up at ya in the dark dirt!! Congrats on the Great day of Hunting!!!

  • Try and see if you have a club in your area. I would get the G2 or the Omega 8000 if you want a good detector and look for old schools and parks. And ask people if you can look for history on their land.

  • i live in central valley cali were there has been alot of old time farming done and many of the small towns are very old how would u sugjest getitng into this hobby?

  • too bad its winter here. i wood love to go detecting. :-(

  • well Lowboy another great vid and awsome finds. cant wait to see more.

  • Arrgh. Nice finds. I am going to post a video with my latest uber find, a spoon that got bent in about 5 directions by a lawnmower. It's still in one piece. Oh and a dime that has also met a lawnmower and is pretty sliced up and bent. It came up a funny number for a dime. A bit low.

Congrats on the finds and another great video.

  • Great video with some of the most unique finds I've seen in quite a while. That big cat ring is awesome. If you don't mind, I'm going to post this video on my sites main page for a while.

    Happy Hunting!

    Mike

  • It is not like that this is a area in Calif that is all good. It is a small town and I work there once they found out who I was they asekd me to stay and find more history.

No dead bodies or people being killed. The area dates back to the Gold Rush days in Calif part of an old town with a lot of history from the 1840s.

  • Great finds bro, when are your appearing on the antique road show???

  • Awesome finds and great video! Jay-from the deep woods of Maine.

  • Excellent !!

  • The Standing Quarter is a definite 1917....the 1916 and 1917 are the only ones with no stars under the eagle. The 1916 is readily identified by the weakness on the stars on the top of the shield on the obverse. The one you found has sharp detail on the stars...good find!

  • that must be either a 1916 or 1917 standing liberty quarter because there are no stars just above the eagle, found one of those myself last year.

  • Nice!

    5 stars

  • Awesome hunt with lots of great finds - congrats!!!!
