personally, i think you could of gotten the guy who played the young Rorschach to play older Rorschach as well. The bald guy playing the older Rorschach could make a good Moloch.
I would have spent more time looking for actors. The actors seem to be into it, and I'm sure they are happy to help, but there are hundreds of underused and talented performers who could have given these characters more development than this.
I felt Rorschach was completely forgotten. He seems like a nice guy, really. He needs to be scarred, hurt, low, monotone. those types of things were spelled out in the book. Nothing wrong with their look - it's the performance that counts. Lacked there

It was alright, try to not to use so many angles when someone is talking. Instead of getting multiple shots while one person is talking, just focus on the character and keep the camera there until they stop talking, maybe even a slow zoom would do.

Agreed, Kovacs needs a wig. Its just so quintessential to his character. I very much like the actor's portrayal of Rorschach, though, even if untraditional. Don't mind Dr. Long being white, it doesn't take too much from his character.
There were some issues addressed in the comic about his and his wife's race.
But seriously though, stop with all the zoom already. I can kind of see were you are going with the fast cuts and few words per cut, like a comic book panel, but it just doesn't translate too well on film.

Thanks for the comments. This whole project was such an enormous undertaking for me. I made this with $1,100 of my own money. Everyone involved went above and beyond their duties. We shot the whole thing over the course of 11 days. I did my best to direct Jim, which was extremely difficult considering how little time we had to have group reads. I believe this is the best piece of the film. I had a full day of shooting in an actual county prison. We really wanted to make this scene ring true.
Understandable problems- indie films don't quite as many auditions. Was probably impossible to find a good actor that fit the therapist's exact physical features.
