A superbowl appearance is closer than ever but at the same time it seems they won't get far. For some reason the offense has stepped up while the defense has taken a major plunge. They are worst against the run(21st) than earlier in the season, while Ken Lucas and Charles Godfrey are allowing too many big plays. Yes, Deangelo and Steve Smith are playing incredibly well but as was evident against the Giants, they can only do so much. I'm a loyal fan but realistically it doesn't look too good.

Panthers have a great shot at the superbowl, and this is coming from an eagles fan. Their run game is unstoppable with deangelo williams and jonathan stewart. Not to take away anything from this team but im still mad about the way the panthers cheated the eagles out of a superbowl in the 03-04 season when half the team tested positive for steriods and they beat us in the nfc championship 14-3
