I know you turned it upside down at the end and it seems legit, but if Im running in the woods and twisting and turning is this thing really gunna work well and hold up or am I going to be wishing I hadnt bought this after the first couple of games? That was just my prototype I'm afraid. If you like the idea of coloured ones please e-mail our Empire website. I'm all for it but sometimes it is hard to persuade the marketing guys.

I wouldn't die them if the die requires heat, as that may affect the plastics. You could try a plastic paint like people use on masks.

i just got in my prophecy. i played with it this weekend. i had the quick load on it. You show that you can open it and what not just like a regular lid. But, whenever i try to open mine, the rubber just bends and the front magnet just stays down.

The rubber will flex a little at the back magnets, but it's fine. It won't pull off or anything. Just open it nice and quickly. :)

i tried opening it nice and quick like you said, and the rubber came off of the black hard peice where it connects to the rest of the shell. so the actual speedfeed is off and the black hard peice is still there.

i bought it from a newer company called got splat paintball. i bought it about a week ago. I used it this weekend for one day on saturday. It worked fine when i got it. And then towards the end of the day it started bending. I didn't do any crazy dives or anything. Will i need to ship it back and then recieve a new one?

No worries, because of my nickname (which is actually derived from Mike, my fathers name, I've been called Mike and a few other things before too. ;) )

I had a Virtue crown on my prototype loaders by making a lid that fit it. I don't think there's an easy way to do that without modifying a lid quite significantly, but I have seen some people make their own.

If your quick feed lid is leaking paint something is wrong. Check you have all the magnets in it, and in the body shells.

I made a special lid with a lip that fit the standard crown. It was just a temporary solution until I had finished designing the Quick Load Lid.

im a snake player and was thinking of getting a prophecy with a speed feed and if i slide into the snake and the hopper slams into the ground will the lid open up completely or will the balls jjust spill out of the top??

I've never seen either happen. The lid will stay shut and the paint will stay in it.

If you hit extremely hard and badly the lid may open, but I've seen some bad dives and never seen that happen yet.

would i be able to use dye lock lids with the prophecy? even with the speedfeed on it. i have a rotor and its ok but i rather get the prophecy and i need a larger paint capacity. so i need to know if i can use dye lock lids cause right now i cant...

I'll need to double check to be 100% certain, but I don't see it being an issue.

The opening on the Prophecy Quick Load Lid is much larger than on any other speed feed system.

The opening on the Prophecy lid is 33% larger than that of a Rotor or Halo B.

ok thanks, cause when i try to use the dye lock lid with my rotor with a speed feed on it, i cant load all of my paint so i have to use regular 140 round pods, so i was hoping to be able to use the dye lock lids

That may also be due to the capacity of the Dye Lock lid pods and the Rotor.

The Rotor holds approx 185 paintballs without jamming it too full, the standard Prophecy holds around 230-235.

The 200 round Prophecy front still holds around 200-205 balls.

That means it's much easier to dump a full pod into a Prophecy if both loaders still have the same amount of balls left in them.

It makes it easier to reload when you can, rather than shooting the loader dry, and you can fill it from larger pods

It's called the "Empire Quick Load Lid" and it's specific to the Prophecy.

You can't use a crown on the Prophecy.

I bet 20 bucks he did it on purpose to make those balls fall so he can cut the scene and try to get a perfectly good split scene of inserting the balls into the loader correctly. Otherwise if he didn't cut it, he would of had to waste so much more time remaking the whole video.

That will be tough because the reason we can do a lot of this is because of the 33% larger lid opening on the Prophecy. I will think about it though. :)

you should try to make a better speed feed for this, like a soft virtue crown or a normal virtue crown. they are much more reliable for not losing paint.

Just a tip..you shouldn't have made the fingers so far apart from eachother.

We did that on purpose because it performs better.

If you want weather protection you can change back to the old lid in seconds.

In fact it would probably be smart to change back to the old lid when you store the loader to stop any dirt or crap getting into it in your bag. :)

and how did you like it during play? like when you went to slide none came out? and also does it go inwards after you use it? because that was one of the main reasons i got rid of my ultrasoft because it caved in.

I haven't lost any paint when sliding into bunkers.

One of the reasons we made the fingers smaller and with larger hinged areas is so that they are less likely to cave in.

It may still happen over time as anything that's only flexed one way will stretch.

However, it's very easy to stop it from happening by simply removing it from your loader at the end of the day (put the normal lid on) and keep it flat. :)

You can do this because it only takes seconds to change the lid!

ive heard that u can do this with virtue crowns. take them off and reverse flex them and put them in the refrigerator and they will be just like new in the morning but colder.. lol haven't tried it but heard it works charms..

The loader colours are initially smoke and black. We have discussed making coloured body shells but I don't yet know if/when they will be available.

now, is the prophecy lighter than the halo? I stopped liking halos because they were a little too heavy for speedball. I would so get the prophecy if it was like vlocity light or close to the vlocity

Please check out the video I made called "Prophecy - Weight comparisons to other loaders" it shows you how light the loader is and compares it to other popular units.

It's MUCH lighter than a Halo. With the 200 round front it's a very similar weight to the VLocity.

Because the center of mass and profile is lower it feels lighter on gun than the VLocity.

We have our own quick loading lid system that will be available shortly. Check out the video I made of that to see why it was designed specifically for the Prophecy.

The Prophecy has a much larger lid opening that any previous Halo loader and to make the most of that advantage we designed our own quick loading lid system.

You don't have to use RF, but if you want to, you need the RF transmitter in your gun. You can do this with the Magna link or the new compatible Hater boards from the Vici platform. :)

The Prophecy doesn't come with the RF chip for your gun.

the pod doesn't 'actually fit into the lid' with the quick feed. You flip it up and then it fits in.... ;)

The pod does fit into the recess in the top of the lid, that's how it pushes open the flaps. Intentionally it doesn't fit all the way through the flaps though. :)

It won't be easy to do that because the lid on the Halo B (like many other loaders) has just too small an opening. The reason I designed the lid on the Prophecy to be so much larger was to make it easier to load, and so that I could do this. This isn't the first times we've made a loader. :)

I don't yet, but I've been playing with a smoke loader with a black nose and it rocks. :) You can't see into it from the front, but you can from the sides and back. Looks really subtle too until you load it with paint. :D

Considering both myself and DYE have probably been using our systems in secret probably for months (at least I know I have) there's not been any copying going on.

I'm yet to get a rotor Speed Feed in, but I don't believe it is big enough for you to automatically open the flaps simply by inserting the pod.

Yes, but then the fingers don't open as well when the loader still has paint in it. I tried that already. ;)

This was the final version after probably 6 prototypes, and was the best in all situations. :)

It's not just held down by the magnets, it also has a ridge that snaps down to help lock it into place.

The standard magnet lid doesn't open when sliding, and this one holds shut even tighter so it shouldn't be an issue. :)
