Technically since forever. By original definition a person who is civilised is one who lives in a city. An encampment of teepees could, with the best will in the world, hardly be described as a city. Of course the meaning has altered and expanded somewhat over time to include any sophisticated culture. Some native American peoples did actually live in small city like communities and so were civilised in the original sense.

Do some research. Horse went over the land bridge the opposite direction, from North America to Asia, then they went extinct here, then the Spanish re-introducted them circa 1650. I used to live in the midwest were one museum after another would talk about how the introduction of the horse changed tribes like the Sioux and made them more nomadic. Before then, yes, they did walk and they didn't do as much traveling because of it. Unless you are saying there is some conspiracy to hide this.

the first English colony was in Newfoundland and declared English in 1503 (Cabot). the French had their first settlement in Acadia (Champlain) in what is now Nova Scotia few years later in Port Royal. more correctly there where 16 Colonies at that time, Canada, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland as well. (New France fell a few years before) The three above mentioned stayed with the Empire, They later helped form a second country of the Dominion of Canada. a friend to both England and the United States of America. Canadians can find both countries on a map in Grade two with no problem!!!!!

Sure. The grave was about 22 feet down. We were drilling for another well when they made contact. The site was fully dug out around 10 years ago. I have to go back to the res and get more precise details. As I have said before, its difficult to get info. Blackfoot dont speak of the dead if it can be helped. Since it was found on another res, its thats tribal council's dominion.
