Hey, you wont rebuild this engine anytime soon,, this is a very powerfull bike, I own a 2005 and it only has a 4 speed box, thats three more gears than you will ever need. The only place you can run it full throttle is on the %$^^$&^ freeway. I own one of these, it is running like a champ,, its 2011. Sorry, these days are owned by the big fours, two stroke is alot of fun, but its over. You all missed the two stroke era, its gone.

i wouldn't turn down a free 450f, but nothing beats a good old 2 stroke power band.

Yes the 426 is a mx racing bike. Yamaha was the first to make a four stroke race bike in 98 with the yz400f moved up to 426 in 2000 then to the 450 in 2003... Do a little research before you post comments. They also made a wr426 which may be what you're thinking about it was a woods bike not mx
