right now i have the haltech f10x standalone, but it needs to be fixed and tuned properly. the shop that installed it, precision autosports, messed it up big.

yea I have full tein coilovers + edfc, def needed an alignment at the time, but that was the day after they were installed. its aligned now. :)

Finally got the tune right, but left the boost as is. Car runs like a beauty, but I have been modding my M3 now. I am going to try and get some footage this week because im back in the IS300. I am waiting on my tires for my new wheels, 18" time attacked BBS.

Honest answer: While I love my IS 300 and would recommend it in a heartbeat, don't get a RWD as a first car, especially when driving a manual, and ESPECIALLY if you live in an area that snows heavily. Start easy; something like an old Civic, or old Celica will do. After a few months or years of driving a manual under your belt, then you can go for something faster or stronger.

RWD as a first car is completely fine. As long as you don't get an MR2 or Feiro or something Mid-engine, OR something high powered. Also, drive safe with your first car. Don't start doing burn outs or trying to see how fast your car can go because friends think it's cool. It just means your friends aren't cool.
