I'm Korean and I can tell that this video is absolutely true and reliable! + I'm studying in Korea.

The president and the ruling party are tearing down democracy and all other values related to Human Rights and that is a very tragic thing. Actually, I lived abroad a couple of years and then came back to Korea 'cuz I thought that Korea was a prosperous and a democratic country but it seems that I was wrong.

As noted earlier, PD수첩, was found to over-exaggerated the report. Since Koreans feared that they might be affected by the MCD, they began to panic. Korea was one of biggest beef importers before 2003. You obviously don't know much about this. Many countries are careful on BSE because it hasn't been explained yet.

Secondarily, the use of bones and intestines is unhealthy and foolish of the Koreans anyway. Finally, do any of your statements excuse protests which injured people, more people than mad cow has? My brother, who is a neurologist at Columbia explained how nervous disorders are only spread by eating said parts of the cow, thus UNHEALTHY/FOOLISH. before you complain koreans of not buying your beef, think about why many countries are taking same action.

To make more profit, u.s farms use all sorts of antibiotics and hormones and feed them meat(this is what caused BSE) to save money. Only 1-2% of downer cows are checked for BSE. And the current prez seems to be more focused on protecting industry and their profits, not the food safety.

don't worry about the loss in beef industry, it's recouped in other business areas.

Today in the USA the FDA only approves 20 months or younger beef for sale because of the risk of mad cow disease. but they wanted to export 30 months and even older beef to korea. with spine and brain intact where there's most risk for mad cow. then after all the protests USA will now only export 30 months and younger without the brain.

So i think protest is justifiable. So in other words USA wants to export their lowest grade beef to korea.

The solution for this ridiculous protesting against US beef is very simple: Korean people can simply choose not buy USA beef. So, no Korean supermakets will import US beef even Korean government "allow" it.

It is really ridiculous to claim that USA farmers will sell mad cow beef to Korea. I don't think USA farmers are so stupid to ignore the basic rule of free market economy.

So, please indicate clearly that you are protesting Korea president, not US beef.
