  • COOL

  • This scale is actually known as F scale, which is supposed to be a narrow guage. Just like On30 runs on HO. Very beautiful K class you got there. 5 Stars!

  • what scale is the k and dooes it work well with lgb

  • The K-27 is 1:20.3 representing narrow gauge.

It will run with LGB. However, LGB is mostly 1:22.5 scale. As such, LGB rolling stock looks a little undersize with a locomotive like the K-27.

  • do you know what brands do work with lgb since thats what most of my layout

  • and G scale works with LGB, in theory.

  • Fine engine. And the consist is not TOO much of a deviation from the prototype. (Some of these garden rr guys go a little nutso on what they run- freely mixing American & Euro equipment & whatnot.) I AM impressed with the locomotive!

  • Mine ran just fine right out of the box. The counterweights did loosen. I shimmed them. Then about three weeks ago my dealer supplied the replacement counterweights. Even though the K was running just fine with the shimmed counterweights I went ahead and installed the replacements. The K runs just fine. It now has in excess of 80 hours run time.

  • You got yours to run? It took me eleven takes for my first shot of the kay starting. It kept locking up whenever I reversed direction.

I requested counterweights three times, still no word back from them.
