@denkleinen1 I personally think a band does what sounds good to them. Maybe some pressure from the suits comes into it but even then the suits dont want to stray from the tried and true. Its kinda journeyish I guess but I like this better than anything journey EVER did. And I know some die hard journey fans. I aint one.
I love Krokus and they did not do glam metal but they did tone it down a bit and went commercial , My friend told me that this song sounds like JOURNEY I agree
So sad that some suit got ahold of these guys after the success of Headhunter, which really rocked!, and turned them into a wet noodle. Check out M.O.D.'s song True Colors for a musical example of what I'm talking about...
@Flagg1991 Wrong!!! You are welcome to your opinion. But AC/DC and Krokus are entirely different. Also, Krokus was under-rated but I truly believe Gorky Park was both the most under-rated and mis-managed band ever!
@BIGJUDGE1975 Gorky Park was a very underrated band, the mis-managed is true - it was Doc McGhee who managed them, who is a little fat criminal, that should still be in prison (In my opinion) .. Be a drug smugler and get a high paid job as a manger for .............. Kiss!?
OK, all issues with AC/DC aside; this is fun vintage 80s glam metal with big hair and fire with a catchy tune!! I love AC/DC and maybe that's why I like Krokus and this song. Miss the 80s vids!
this song clearly rips off KISS's Partners in Crime at certain parts, and to the guy saying Cinderella, Crue, and Winger ripped off Krokus is delusional Krokus is an AC/DC tribute band nothing more
You are crazy, my friend. Krokus is its own band. Did AC/DC dress like that in 86? Krokus pays homage to AC/DC by imatating their style, but they are for the most part origional.
if AC/DC dressed like that in 86 or ever they would of commited career suicide much like Billy Squire did....as much as you want to believe Krokus is original, they just are not
UDO sounds nothing like Bon or Brian, Krokus sounds exactly like AC/DC same as many other bands I have played music trivia before and they played a Jackyl song and everyone on my team thought it was AC/DC before I said something, I have no doubt in my mind if krokus was played the same thing would happen.
DNOMYTE, Krokus aren't an Ac Dc tribute band/Rip off, Ac Dc were going to hire Marc after Bon's death, There are alot of bands with energetic music, I personally think Krokus is better then Ac Dc and Ac Dc are too over rated. If Krokus didn't have Marc you wouldn't say they're an Ac Dc tribute band, the bands' tempos are similar but alot of the stuff Krokus do is much different
I'm not the only one who thinks these guys sound like AC/DC hundreds of music critics say the same thing. People even say Long Stick Goes Boom is the best ACDC song ACDC never wrote. Com'on Krokus = ACDC tribute
Yeah but they did begin experimenting they eventually got bored of the blues based boogie stuff AC/DC does. They incorporated some straight forward metal and even some speed metal stuff on there next record Heart Attack. Stamped went even further they almost had kind of an AC/DC / Judas Priest thing going on with that album. At the end of the day Krokus is just a great underrated band.
I remember it, wow. Nearly forgot it though, first Krokus single was "Long Stick Goes Boom", to the last "Change of Address" where they fell out of favor. Where is Marc Storace now?
I think a lot of bands copped KROKUS. Cinderella, Crue, Winger gimme a break. KROKUS was pure crunch. This isn't one of their stronger songs as compared to "Screaming in the Night" or "Long Stick Goes Boom". Those are friggin' classics. I'd jam with those guys any day.

Hey, yanr0ckets, learn some fucking grammer retard, I hope that you're still in school, you moron. Why don't you take your gay ass on and listen to the Wiggles or Elton John, punk-ass bitch.
Krokus is the shit, even if they do look a little gay in here. But they don't, they look just like any other Metal band in 1986. At least they're not wearing make up like Twisted Sister! (another good band, but nothing compared to Krokus)

Krokus was not alone in that specific time zone..Krokus does rock when it comes out in the wash...Marc Storace sounds like Bon Scott, and what is wrong with that. Wish I did....Rock On...
The only thing I remember about Krokus is that the lead singer looked a lot like Colonel Gadaffi. Good to see I wasn't mistaken in this. Which Kiss song is this pinched from again?
I had no idea this was Krokus' last video ever. I like this song! The problem with bands that came out around 1983, is that by late 1986 the whole "pop metal" thing kicked off big time. Btw, ask him why he bailed out on Royal Jelly, the band w/ Jeff Klaven (who was his band mate in Cobra and Krokus)?

We love GOOD 80's rock. I can totally do w/o shitty 80's rock. Mid-80's Krokus sucked and was an insult to the legacy they created with their first 4 international releases.
This song could have been better played and sung, I think it has the feel that someone hurried up and wrote this, threw it at them and said good luck, save yourselfs, sad, but I'm not trashing them of this song, it has too many memories behind it....
I agree Ballroom Blitz sucked ballz! Although I would never call them a "hair band" like Warrant/Bon Jovi/Poison etc. It was a very short phase for them.
Thanks for posting this video, I was looking for it for a long time. The bass player on this record (Tommy) used to stay in the holiday flat of my parents.

This wasn't Krokus' last video - they also shot one for the single off 'Heart Attack' in '88.
Krokus' glam phase [The Blitz / Change of Address] was friggin' horrid - bad haircuts, silly customs, and generic, weak songs.
