its called odyssey in to the minds eye how do i know that cose in the intro to oddys it hase some fisheys floteing around and some seaship regesge with a yello eye in its intro where as beyond the minds eye hase a black navey blue very very light blue back round with a bright blue head in its intro but anyway thanks for posting it brought back some found memerys of it...bye

Thank you so much, Zrcalo for putting this on YouTube!! I have loved the introduction piece - all 49 seconds - ever since my husband had a Sony Vaio back in 1998! I used to boot up his computer just to hear it! In 2003, I had emailed this guy "steve@animationtrip" and tried for 3 years to buy the original from him -- without success! Just today I decided to see if anything would show up if I Googled it. Is this the Theme Song from "Odessey into the Mind's Eye"? Where can I get more?

I used to be a Sony Vaio rep at an electronics store. I remember when Sony used this video clip on their new Vaio desktops back around 1998/99 as a video demo. It' was the first time I saw this and loved it.

@paperskull1 There is a part 3... I've wanted all of them for years. I believe they sell it in a "Trilogy pack"- my fav is the one w/ the pteradayctle( I can never spell that) and fish, where the ptera. loves the fish so much, he breaks the water in a power dive then both their worls collide... really cool.

Thomas Dolby did the soundtrack to Beyond the Minds Eye, not this one.

Strike that, he did the soundtrack to "The Gate to the Mind's Eye." I think Jan Hammer did Beyond the Mind's Eye, and Kerry Livgren did "Odyssey into the Mind's Eye."
