Can you imagin if they used this theme for FF8? It just wouldn't work. FF7 has greater emotion in all their characters. This Vid does a good job in showing that. The music composer and game creaters did Aeris' theme specifically for her.

according to the producers, they did not want to make rinoa too pretty as people would then neglect her personality and character. they designed her to be more on the 'cute' side. still, i think she is the best ff girl they have done so far, both in terms of looks and personality. who wouldn't want a girlfriend that is so lively?

FF8...this is where it all began...Square experimented on making real-life looking characters instead of old fashion cartoony ones...in the end, they made a lot characters "come to life"...all except Squall...for some reason, Squall looked fake...At one glimpse, u'd realise he's a CG character...while Rinoa was nicely done...I've received a lot comments like "is she a real person/actor???" from people when they 1st saw Rinoa's movie clip...

His original name is Squall Leonheart, while the girls name is Rinoa Heartilly, unless my memory fails me. =)
