Be more mysterious! Don't tell them the dollar is going to move, or what's going to happen.. Just tell them to watch. Build suspense. Also, make it seem like it takes alot of mental effort from you. It will seem even more impressive if it seems like it was difficult for you to do.

I am thinking that we, like all organisms, evolve gradually but I don't believe in the way you are suggesting with your 2012 comments. I'm thinking more along the lines of Darwinian evolution. I just don't see much evidence of any other sort of evolution within the human organism except the passing on of knowledge like your example of the cavemen and fire.
