  • 4:40 Lol there goes your 15x combo

  • This level is awesome! I am so playing it when I get LBP in 4 days!!!! =D CANT WAIT!

  • that was brilliant you should be very proud of your self but hoe did you do it?

  • Also I played your level several times and it always begins the same way. Is it because some pieces are already on the conveyer and only the rest is random?

  • Please make a video of what happens off scene. I want to make a survival level similar (vaguely) and im in desperate need of help: i don't know how to make emitters to emit a constant flow of obstacles with no gaps. It would help me very much and I would tell all of my players to check out your level. BTW, you're one of the best creators ive ever seen and i would be amazed if you couldn't get make levels for MM.

  • Please play my Throw it Down the Shoot Survival Challenge. If you do please tell me what you think by leaving a comment on my level. PSN: whitesox30pk. Thanks!!!

  • Thanks for your replies. They really helped me understand. I hope you don't mind but I might make a level like it. You might want to think about making a new video showing all the tricks you used off scene. It would really clear things up.

p.s. you are one of the best lbp creators i've seen and I would like to see some of your other levels.

  • It's quite simple actually, I use 5 emitters that are slightly out of sync (using phase) plus have a slightly different frequency. It took some fine tuning to get the randomness but definitely worth it was far less thermometer than a randomiser.

  • I'm not a amateur or anything so you can give me detailed answers if you explain how you created some of the different obstacles that I ask about in the following comments.

  • How do you make the conveyer belt move faster while still keeping the emitters emitting different obstacles?

p.s: nobody saw that empty platform disappear at 1:52

  • That was probably the hardest part, I tried many methods. The solution was the simplest, I gradually speedscale the motors on the wheels (the conveyor) over time, the problem with that was that over time, gaps would appear. So, I have faster motors offscreen (going in and going out) and slower motors in the middle. So, in effect, the pieces in the middle of the screen are being squeezed slightly, but not enough to have them buckle and pop upwards. Use metal on the bases to weight it down also.

  • Yes, an unfortunate side effect of emitting a piece to early. The pieces have quite long lifetimes which initially is fine, but as it gets faster and faster, they stack up and start to block the conveyor. What you don't see is an elaborate crushing system I have below the main play area that channels and crushes everything that falls into its jaws :) I tested it at pull speed for 30 minutes to see if it could keep up :)

  • Are the turrets emitted at the top and fall down? You say the are hand sequenced. What do you mean? Are they emitted by a sequence of magnetic key switches?

  • As for the turrent, yes they fall down and are held in place by a U shaped piece of glass. Yes, I emit them in a sequence which uses magnetic keys (exactly the way as making a music sequencer). Once the little car (with the mag keys on) gets to the end of the sequence I use some logic to turn the wheels the other way and play the sequence backwards (so it actually gets easier again, if anyone could ever make it that far :) )

  • How did you create the alternating conveyer belt? Did you use a hand set magnetic key sequence or was it many randomly emitted obstacles?

  • I got first :).(kratos-2144)

  • Ur clear the decks has so many plays cus Mm never updates the news moon.Nice level though.

  • amazing
