we humans are meant to eat meat but not in a huge a mounts now if we talk canada and america we are over addicted to meat because simply we are brainwashed through media homo sepians are never meant to eat every day meat i was serving in the army in iraq and i saw the people how they treat the animals with respect and no body there eat meat every day it has everything to do with the culture and how we have been raised.
I support animals being treated humanely but not the way Peta likes to try and guilt trip people into becoming vegetarian of vegan.
They should concerntrate on getting public awareness on the issues on how the animals we eat are treated. They should bein trying to get the companies to change their protocal and get public support. If that means everyone refusing to eat meat that comes from cruelty then fine. But not guilting people like Peta do.
i love music....but COME ON! I've been on the teeter-totter....struggling for 2 years now. On and off again. I'm sure I'm NOT the only one. Who chose this music? This is not attractive. I respect the movement, however, this isn't crediting the movement in any positive way whatsover. I appreciate any effort, though to promote awareness of this movement.
Killing animals is a horrendous atrocity and all of us sense or feel this is unquestionably true rather than rationally understand that. When I read and hear all these elegant justifications for eating animals I understand we humans are trying to justify what´s wrong as acceptable. As a civilization we´re not willing to give up our egotistic cravings and selfishness for the benefit of other creatures. And from justification to justification we´re consigning our own humanity to oblivion.
Even when people see this or are told about it, sometimes they just turn away or deny this because if they accept this then it will rock their world, they may have to make changes or learn to live with the guilt of not making changes.
So I think that is why vegos and vegans make the meat eat majority so uncomfortable and why they think we are preaching when we try just to let them know so they can make an educated choice.
Tell me about it. A friend of mine asked ME (asked me) why I don't eat meat and began preaching to me about how it is ok and "just natural" and when I said because of animals, environment, health etc his reply was "There goes that holier than thou shit again".......WTF????
I guess we just need to remember when the student is ready the teacher will come - as in when people are ready to hear this info they will ask. Until then we can go on peacefully doing our thing. Anytime we do anything that even looks like preaching we just alienate ourselves.
I get a lot people telling me that is okay for me to eat salad everyday for lunch but they just NEED to eat meat because their body is different from mine. Ummmm okay if that is how you justify it to yourself...

Yes, I know. And as Vegan myself, I see and know the good that's doing. It just seems to me that happy music in a vid like this will tell those that don't believe in the cause that they don't have to take it seriously. Music for vids like this are usually dark and brooding, and tell the viewer that this is something serious.
