  • Choot em!!!!

  • What was the pucker factor when it flinched in front of you. I had an experience here in Florida one time fishing like you were an I am sure I could have pinched off a 10 penny nail at that moment.

  • choot em!

  • People say that Florida and Louisiana have the big gators, but the biggest ones I see are always from Texas.

  • i've heard they're very fast and can jump atleast twice their distance.i always tell my kids to stay away from the bank.

  • Damn glad I don't have to worry about gators in my neck of the woods.

  • Gator that close? I'd grab me a big rock and plant it between his eyes! Make it fear man (and my fastball).

  • Awwww, lil' ol' bitty 'gator juz wanted a close up look at that ol' soup strainer you got hanging off your top lip there. :)

  • looks about 5-7ft. he could of been a handful... but come back tonight and do some friendly relocating hehe....

  • Usually when you see a gator, the fish quite all activity. You might as well go home. Or move a good distance away from the gator.

  • @mainbearing68 I hate the sorry things (gators) The only thing thay are good for is to eat. I would of thrown someting at him to run him off. He looks way too friendly. Someone must of fed him some time. You could of put some fear back in him. If a gator comes out of the water toward me I WILL SHOOT first and ask questions later. I love nature but gators are way too invasive.

  • Angry gator!

  • Awww. He just wanted to get petted!

  • catch and eat that gator

  • @01liquidfires right there with ya on that one buddy :)

  • cool vid

  • I'm glad I don't have to worry about gators in my part of the country. You can have 'em!

  • Remember when you could watch a video without having to sit through a commercial?

Remember when music videos were uploaded by users and not VEVO

Remember when all the info was to the right of the video?

Remember you could rate a video 1-5 stars?

Remember the famous yellow subscribe button?

Remember when the users controlled the site and now corporations?

    WE MISS THE OLD YOUTUBE!

Post this in every video and lets start a youtube revolution!

    Thumbs up

  • @mrspenn1611 nope.avi

  • @mrspenn1611 fag

  • @alankills what are you calling me a cigarette for??

  • I was playing golf in FL.Hit my ball by some water on the sand about 3 ft from the water and there was a gator about 10 ft from me and i walked up and hit the ball and he just stayed there and watch me,I must say i didn't waste any time hitting the ball tho LOL.

  • Cool gator.

  • Great video Kev. He was waiting for you to pull in another perch. I've accidently caught gators like that one, when they attack and swallowed a fish that I was reeling in. Happened to me twice.

  • Nice job Kev.

  • nice video of the gator

  • is it gator hunting time.

  • Glad we don't have those things here. I sometimes fall asleep fishing in a place like that.

  • Gator meat is good eatin though.

  • Thanks for sharing this Kev. I knew there was more than just getting away from my ex to not loving Texas..lol

  • and btw it's nice to see how respectful you are to him/her

  • Are those things dangerous if you camp out overnight, night fishing near the bank? Will a lantern draw 'em in?

  • good vid

  • hope you at least brougth a .22

  • He's waiting for some free food stuck to your line. Thanksf or sharing

  • That gator looks like my ex-wife.

  • @mamasellout

    Ha ha ha ha

  • @sachsunkelt

Gators are not near as aggressive as crocks

Small gators don't see things bigger then them selves as food, that isn't to say a small gator wouldn't try and bite you if you got to close

  • @ZZReptiles

In part you are right smaller Gators don't poss much of a problem

But think they are slow moving is a mistake

On land or in the water they can out run and out swim you on your best day don't kid your self

Growing up in south east Texas I have seen my far share of Alligators, they are not slow at all.

  • Interesting. Be careful man.

  • That thing looks hungry! XD

  • Gator.it's whats for dinner!

  • Hehe...he's sitting there thinking: "Soon human, soon." ;-)

  • My wife and i just spent 3 days at martin dies Jr s.p. and observed several gators all around the park. one around 5 feet long swam right thou the public swimming area because some one brought there dog in the swimming area.

  • Kevin, my sister has a pond in Waller, Texas. Is there any particular stock fish you would recommend? It's about the size of a football field(without the end zones).

There are some catfish and turtles in it now.

  • Yeah that gator might not mean anybody any harm but if you brush him the wrong way, he can be mean. And a mean gator is unforgiving.

  • That a baby! DEEP FRIED GATA TONIGHA!!!

  • I hope you had an extra pair of drawers with you!!!! Mine would have been full especially if I had my daughter with me!

  • Surely a five foot gator would tackle a human? Here in Australia the Salt Water Crocodile will definately have a go at you from approx 6 feet and up and they grow over 20 feet long. At that size they definitely see people as FOOD.

  • Pretty cool "survivalist" vid.

  • "oh that gator dead".....lol

  • wow, scary!

  • big enough! and closer than i like em!

  • he looks like godzilla.

  • I am glad you are aware and cautious, it only takes a few seconds for him to snap a leg and pull you in. Dumb or not he plays for keeps.

  • do you have to have a permit to catch gators there?

  • I agree, you shouldn't antagonize them and feeding dangerous animals creates dangerous asscociations in their minds.

  • great video !

  • Gators are a lot less dangerous then people think, reptiles are pretty dumb and slow. Go look up the data, your more likely to get injured driving over there then you are by a gator attack. Just keep little kids away from em, thye might see someone that small as prey.
