Ah yes! Its Israel's fault that Arabs hate each other. Of course. The war started in early 1970s. Israel came in 1982 to fight the Palestinian bandits kicked out of JORDAN some years earlier.

The Lebanese Civil War was supported by many Arab countries like Syria, Jordan, KSA, Libya, and Egypt; the war was to keep Lebanon part of the Arab World, and not to loose it like Malta. Moreover, direct all foriegn tourism & investments to these countries; Also, ech of the top countries fought each other by supporting Lebanese fractions to fight on their behalf.

We must understand that the neighbouring countries of Lebanon & Palestine has have agreed on not creating a Palestinian independent State, yet using the Palestinian conflict for their own benefits. The real reasons of the Lebanese Civil Wars were not the Palestinians or the Lebanese Christians, but the Arab Governments who secretly agreed among each other and who has secret agreements with some Western countries to keep the conflict going based on religious & ethnic violence; Pitty Arabs.

I think the BIGGEST mistake Israel has ever done was to leave Lebanon and abandoned the Christian minority. Unfortunately Israeli public opinion in that time was tired of Israelis getting killed for what a lot of ppl considered as not "our" war. How wrong they were. @Joniversity , I dont need to watch any documentary in order to educate myself. You are the one who needs some education. Israel should have stayed in Lebanon? Why the hundreds of thousands of civilians, Lebanese and Palestinians were not enough for you? How about Sabra and Shatila? Dont dare say Israel had nothing to do with that. The Israeli's helped to stop the massacre? How by providing flares of light so that the killers can see their targets late at night when people were sleeping. @Khaled4life Take a look at the UN's 1967 map for Palestine and you'll see that Palestinian had what is now known as Northern Israel. Where did this part of the Palestinian state go? The region was fully occupied like the West Bank is today, and up to ten thousands of Palestinian refugees were forced out of Northern PALESTINE into Southern Lebanon. The Palestinians' motives in the south was solely to move back to their region. Israel funded Phalangist, and they committed massacres on Palestns.

They wont mention sabra and shatila because to the lebanese christians, that massacre was justified. Read the comments on the other clips, they see it as "cleansing the camps of filth". They have no regard for palestinian life.
