  • looks fantastic mr hale here looks very like the mr hale in the daniel day lewis film aahaa :)

  • Curious choice of music. Yet it works.

  • can we have your costumes :) ?

  • what's up with the scrim that reads "the crucible"??

is that in case people forget what they're looking at?

  • ohhh i cant wait to perform this for my AS level final drama piece, im Abigail and i just love playing her character, its just so much fun, hope our costumes are that good :P bedoodoodoo

  • Excellent!! It looks like it was staged pretty well and strongly performed. We are doing this play at my college; currently in our last week of rehearsals. It's so exciting!! I am one of the crazy girls of team abby but we have a phenomenal cast. We have a black box theater too but are performing it in the mainstage theater. The only thing I would have changed here is I wouldn't have kept that title banner up there the whole time, but that's me. I loved the colors used for the lighting too! :)

  • Yeah, the thing about the black box is that the seats surround three sides of the stage and it's really hard to seamlessly change the backdrops if need be. I guess they needed something to last through the entire show and since the scenes are so different (forest, courtroom, bedroom, etc...) they just decided to do it like this and depend on the set pieces (rock, table, bed, etc...) to set the scenes and leave the backdrop the way it was. I thought it was kinda cool.

  • dude do you know who this songs by.. one of the greatest and biggest bands. portrays the crucible completely. nice one :)

  • what a crappy song

  • Where was this performed? And btw... I loved the song and the slideshow :) I'm Elizabeth Proctor in the show we're currently putting on.

  • This was peformed by the drama majors at the Pittsburgh High School for the Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA).

  • That's awesome... I'm sure they did great! I currently attend an Arts school (I am only a wimpy little 8th grader, but we are putting on The Crucible and I'm excited to perform! Thanks for the great slideshow!

  • was this in the black box?

  • Yeah. It was in the Black Box.

  • whoa! well just to letcha know there's one really good slideshow, and it actually really was good

  • I hate these stupid slideshows

  • Hey, if you don't like it, THEN DON'T WATCH IT! Lots of people like them, and I spent a number of hours putting the whole thing together. Nuff said?

  • Oh wow...i can't wait to go to CAPA next year

    [if i'm accepted of course]
