If he has been living there since 1968 then that's a 44 year mortgage?!? That and since it was his mothers house I would assume she was making some kind of payments on it too. His explanation that "I provided them all the documentation I had and it just never panned out" is fairly weak. What never panned out? Why didn't you MAKE it pan out? Why not apply for a VA Loan? Why not refinance? Why did his monthly payments go up so much? I need answers not appeal to emotions.
@cydonia21 he refinanced. His financial and employment troubles are due to health problems. The video is not an appeal to emotions, but an attempt to show how emotional and personal the foreclosure process is.

The banks have manipulated the remodification program so that all the homes in danger of foreclosure don't hit the market at once. The banks make more money foreclosing on homes than they do working with homeowners if the loan was guarenteed. This is another example of "no-win", no matter what a person does. The 99% are the "job-creaters" - the 1% are the parasites.
bobby should contact a bankrupcy atty as there are probably some actions that can be taken that will suspend the action till a judge can access the issue.. like the issue of the bank losing the paperwork.. this was clearly an issue that obama brought up in the last address on the harp program
@tbaarr1 That's not always possible when the banks bundled mortgages and sold them to investors without recording the sales. It makes title insurance worthless as a lot of people are or will be finding out. The banks have also sold off the amount remaining from short-sales to shady debt collectors and they are contacting the original homeowners who thought they were done with the home, sometimes years later.
This scheme is being applied to other loans like car loans.
@aikanae1 as long as they have a mortgage doc with the banks name on it..the bank is liable and so is any insurance company.. it will be up to the insurance company to subrogate back to the offending bank for any defects in the chain

This does not seem to have anything to do with the mortgage crisis. The house was bought in 1968? A 30 year mortgage would have been paid off in 1998, almost 14 yearrs ago. What happened? Is there something to this story that is not being mentioned? I don't think it is right to evict people from their own homes, nor am I pro-bank, but I am dubious about people's stories in some of these things and tired of being lied to and manipulated by all sides.
