Bruce Lee's philosophy of fighting was nothing short of excellence and should be revered, but saying Bruce would beat a guy like Fedor is just...ridiculous. MMA, dispite a cage which many people find intimidating is actually good and the two fighters train for months for the fight and are also fully aware of what's happening, no weapons a ref to stop the fight if anything LETHAL may happens. MMA train to win competition.

@JordyBT to each his own. i shall say that my training helped me defend myself, even against multiple attackers in the two street fights i was involved in. its about taking what you learn MMA/Muay Thai/Boxing/Judo/Wing Chun/JKD/whatever and using it properly in a street fight. A MMA fighter who fights like he is in the cage would get RAPED on the streets. A MMA fighter who takes what he knows and uses it while playing dirty on the streets will win. Bruce embraced that philosophy.

@toolfan92 Yeah, of course you will be able to defend against people but MMA don't teach knife defense or gun disarm which in these day's is vital to anybody walking around. I totaly understand what you mean and i respect that.

I do MMA myself but i don't like it when people assume that it's the ultimate training when it's not, i've done Ninutsu for 9 years now and i can say alot of the techniques arn't allowed to be used in MMA and do help one greatly on the streets.

@JordyBT actually i have learnt gun and some knife disarming, in fact my first exposure to martial arts was through KAPAP, an Isreali self defense system. so even before i got into MMA and stuff like that, i was learning purely for self defense. so yeah lol.

Brock is number one and he is so good he can't even organise a seminar. An MMA seminar by Brock Lesnar will really put someone to sleep.I really advise him as a sympathetic observer to attend one of Fedor's seminar to learn one or two things before getting beaten up badly by him.Thats how bad Brock sucks at MMA can't even organise a seminar because there is nothing to teach but being a loud mouth

Kohsaka's 'win' over Fedor was even an illegal hit, but the rules were if you made the other guy bleed, you win. So even though fedor's got a loss on his record, most people still describe him as undefeated. That's a whole different thing compared to dominating someone for 3 rounds and getting a unanimous decision.

Fedor's loss was due to an illegal elbow cutting him up. Elbows were not allowed during the fight, and it was a tournament where he had to proceed from one fight to another. He could not continue fighting because of the cut, therefore he had to withdraw from the tournament and it was ruled a loss instead of No Contest.

But I still regard him as undisputed.

Lol, having seen him in action and up close, I fully agree with you: he isn't a man I'd pick to fight. With that in mind, he's the best to learn from - I've never come across someone who is that clear in his explanations and that open. You DON'T get this weird feeling as with some other fighters that he keeps stuff to himself and only teaches you fluff - vice versa, whatever he teaches is simple, yet incredibly powerful and guaranteed to work in any MMA fight.
