yh they did a long stint with the famous psychedelic/grunge/thrash label SHIMMY disc records, this included bands such as BONGWATER, and UNCLE WIGGLY and SHOCKABILLY, although shonen knife were succesful for shimmy disc, its just another typical bunch of spoiled japanese rich kids,

not a rebelious bone in their bodies, most UK and EVEN US indie nbands of the time ripped the asss out of them (i was there)
