Don't listen to the haters, this is exactly what I wanted to see, I had never heard about this game till I was looking over IGN's top 100 ps2 games to find some games I've missed out on. This is a must buy, this video sold me on it! thanks!

lol i just looked for it, because i was here en(dot)wikipedia(dot)org/wiki/­List_of_Square_Enix_games

and then i saw this... i looked if it's Action or Round based

then it was like "great, an ARPG! lets have a look how it looks like!"

the funny thing is: i talked to my bros a few days ago about that i want an oldschool ARPG like Secret of Mana in Anime style etc.... here you even have a Ring Menue!

all i could complain is, that it's a sidescroller, but you can't have everything, eye?

but what the hell, it is 2D! (at least^^ the one think i'd prefer is that it has overview like in the old zeldas or again Secret of Mana) and one of the best ones too! because its on PS2 (i don't think there will be that much 2D games on PS3...)^^

Seems pretty nice. The big Thor-like guy in there seems weird, but the rest is nice. Like it how it's got platformer cutscenes that don't look all cheesy.

For the most part, the English voices aren't bad at all. Gwendolyn's sticks out the most for me though because in English she sounds a lot girlier/more helpless (not very in-character for her at all) whereas in Japanese she's much more no-nonsense and a little cold.

How come you didn't pick up all the items from the chest? Is there a severe item limit in this game like in Riviera? ^^;

Either way it looks good, I might get it. I've heard it's pretty hard though. Is that true?

In the beginning you can only carry 16 items but later in the game you can buy more item bags and carry up to 48 items total.

As for the difficulty, it varies as there are 3 different settings, easy, normal and hard. You can change the difficulty at any point in the game to mix it up, you can make the stages really easy if you want and make the bosses hard for example.

I just got this game and I am so mad because I bought 5 pouchettes early in the game, thinking I was making a wise investment, and now I can't carry very many items at all.  *_* lol

Oh if you want to get rid of a bag, press R2 to go to item management. Select the bag you want to get rid of and then select an empty slot in a different bag. That'll empty the bag and put it back in your inventory to drop/sell

Well 30 if your good and fast. I put about 60 hours into it but I'm way over powered, it's not necessary to pt that much time into it.

Yeah, you put 60 hours but you levelled waaaaaay beyond me. That said, I redid bosses about 70 times before getting them since I had to watch myself alot more :(
