looked unorganized, if your on a public sidewalk, a strikeline can legally hole up each of those trucks for 3 mins... and while u hold them give that driver hell.. I know, i was on stike two years ago and had a line a mile long with trucks tring to get into your plant..

@chole4me1 Yes, we did stop them. Put logs in the road they had to then get out and move before they could move on. We just tried to let them know what they were doing, in case they didn't know already.

@Droness I work in San Diedo, local 36, const (ready mix, dump truck, aggregates, ect). the second day of our stike, we held asphalt trucks, and scab ready mix trucks up. it was taken almost 2 hrs to go thru the pick line. every load of concrete that came out of there was to old and they had to dump it...the asphalt was boarder line of being to cool. after the strike was over the head office said they lost over $300,000.00 in our 4 day strike...

It's a shame to see these over-the-road trucks crossing the picket line.

The strikers should of attemped to communicate with these drivers, by giving them some informaiton. They may not realize what they are doing when they cross a picket line.

The price of diesel in the UK stands at £1.32 a litre, thats £5.28 a gallon, And driver rates are £8-9 per hour, an with over 80% going to the treasurey @ 17.5% VAT, (valued added tax). So yankie drivers aint hit that hard, considering fuel prices have been low for years, Keep on truckin US!!
