  • i love river smallies

  • Anytime that happens, you can decrease the risk of permanent damage by taking your pliers and flattening the barb. Then the hook will come out somewhat cleaner and not damage the eye as much. Also, a quick removal where the hook is popped out is better than trying to pull it out. I usually place the hook where I can get some leverage on it and a quick pop with the palm of my hand against the hookeye usually pops it right out. Try it sometime.

  • good info!

  • ha thats what she said 0:26

  • DId you see the size of that fish at 3:36? holy shit!

  • @dad325 i thought to myself wow this chump is being sarcastic but seriously that was a big ass fish

  • whats a good size for bass? our bass are a little small compared to other states, and what weight for rooster tails since they are similar?

  • @HATINTHEKAT hey have you ever caught a largemouth bass

  • @xxfinisherxx yes i have, but maybe a new tip could improve my chances when i asked for a good size i meant a for lures...

  • i hate swivels

  • i hate it

  • @woodsandworkshop at 3:36 if that is where u mean the torpeto fish is at, its a pike

  • what the heck was that monster of a fish that misse dthe bait near the top?

  • god i hate when the hook goes in their mouth and out their eye!! any1 else hate tht?

  • @ckyguy5 i hate it when the hook gets hooked in their eye

  • @ckyguy5 one time i hooked a bluegill in its eye

  • @ckyguy5 It makes me all squirmy inside, does it do that to you

  • @merganserhunter not rly im used 2 it

  • @ckyguy5 It just never sits right in my stomach when I hook em in the eye

  • @ckyguy5 the worst part is that crunch as you pull the hook out

  • @ckyguy5 no, no it makes me very horny!

  • good tips using inline spinners, mostly freshwater but good! Great job Lindy family!

  • I personaly use the traditional daredevle spinner. the classics never fail.

  • wow!

  • mepps aglia #4 is my favorite. silver on sunny days, gold on overcast days

  • awesome! great video! inline spinners are definitely effective lures! rooster tails, blue fox, mepps, all great stuff!

  • i can get spinners at the dollerstore and i cought more fish on them then a expencive one from a fishing shop

  • were r u in this video

  • I use a small jig and i just cast it out under logs and catch huge smallmouth

  • I think the bass laugh so much watchin these ultra-equipped anglers....they bite for sorrow surely

  • what if u wanna fish in like between not to high at the time whatblade shall i use

  • i agree. when river smallie fishing, i use ver small EGB bee lues (#360)

  • lol sounded like he said holy negroe

  • holy makrel

  • HE SAYS HOLY MACKRELL.

  • he says natural i think not negro...

  • did he say holy negro in 00:30????

  • no you idiottttt

  • He said "holy mackerel"

  • it does sound like it!

  • If I only had $15-30 to spend, what lures or soft baits would you guys suggest for purchase? I'm going for mostly bass and panfish. Anything that can catch multiple species actually. Any help?

  • okay buy a pack of berkley hand pour finese worms in 6" watermelon magic, then buy Gamakatsu Fluorescent Hook assortment (it says they are for steelhead and walleye but the are excellent for drop shotting), Then buy some Drop shot wieghts. I prefer the Drop down 3/16 once wieghts by Owner. now look up how to tie a drop shot rig and you will be catching bass everytime

  • berkley worms are great but not knowing what to use says u are new to using artificial lures but to someone new to the sport the action of a worm is not easy to mimick but if you buy a manns minus 1 mino aka baby 1 they are all around great cranckbaits that only dive 1 foot wich will minimise snags i would recommend this cause ive used it for years and caught small/largemouth walley musky northern pike crappie bluegill perch and more they cove most freshwater species

  • blue fox flash spinner pack i used a rainbow trout one once and there was not a set of 10 cast i didnt get a largemouth on a small pond

  • LOL. whoa.. look.. whoaa.. whoaa.. yaa... whoaa.. look at that.. whoaa.. hehe. nice fish btw. i use crankbaits.. they work good at this time of the year.

  • bomber makes awsome cranks baits

  • lol ya i just got my bomber a square elite series lure in today cant wait to fish it.

  • ya i got i think deries b its tiny but ob 8 lb line its killer

  • Inline spinners are about my favorite for where I fish, small reservoirs and lakes. Always use a swivel, don't just tie the spinner on your line because you'll get bad line twist due to the spinner's action.

  • soft bait are the best baits ever. Nothing can fish like soft bait. Trust me

  • im agree with you. I`m live in norway, but soft bait rules. Nothing can catch more fish. And you dont have to waste money on expensive lures like rapala

  • mepps #3 aglia, is just an awesome spinner as well. catch everything with them

  • man were can you get these with red and white feathers at the end just in a package by itself.i got mine caught on a branch and lost it and all i kan find them in is sets.

  • try online bass pro or sum its worth a look i love any mepps with a tail i know why u dont want to buy the whole kit cause u only use half the lures in it

  • @942119 #3 silver Blue Fox Vibramax - I've caught hundreds and hundreds of fish on this: Smallies, largemouth, pike (small ones), pickeral, sunnies, crappie, perch, brown trout, rainbow trout, and even bluefish and dolly varden! Best lure of all time.

  • @942119 Mepps #5 Black Fury, I catch lots of pike with these. Black w/ Yellow dots work best.

  • Blue Fox - Vibrax

    Enough said.

  • i have 5 of them in a set differnt colors but what are they called

  • like roostertails! Best lure ever

  • i need help what can i do to attract bass

  • nice smallies

  • where u get that

  • Ahaaa... I have one of these =D

  • Pretty cool!
