thats the point its not a story it music they don't need and order you dumb ass and try listening to the album 2024 flow Aberdeen always something and shake me down are awesome songs just cuz your on hip hops dick dose not me you can talk down grate rock!!! its a 10/10
I like Cage for their original punk sound, not the sound perpetuated by Green Day (pop punk). It's refreshing to see a band break the standard of pop punk and bring back sounds that harken back to 80's underground and 90's alternative. I think that Cage is still trying to find an original sound and TYHB reflects how they got heavily into the sounds of the Pixies, Pavement, The Strokes, 90's alternative, and 80's underground and tried to incorporate those influences into their sound. Good review.
@Alex703rockstar and since you seem to be reviewing a lot of indie albums, have you listened to Arcade Fire's Funeral or The Suburbs? I know they've received more attention as of late but I still think they've got a pretty cool sound. Would be interested to hear your thoughts on it.
@Jackmonster3231 My thoughts: Arcade Fire are very good at summing up recent indie trends and turning it into one, cohesive sound. The Suburbs is the best they've done in that regard, but certainly not worth the hype as this era-defining album. 7/10
