Little tip for recording yourself...don't hold the items so close to the camera because it blurs them and it's hard to see clearly. Hold them back an inch or 2 and it'll make a difference. I love these videos, I think you're a very talented person and I would love to try out these styles someday.

Hi Jen, Thanks for the tutorial. I have tough time making my lashes stay up after I applying mascara. I have long straight asian lashes and I use Shiseido curler, my lashes manage to curl nicely but it kind of 'flopped' after i apply my mascara. I've tried different drugstore mascara and they don't work. Help!

hey jen just curious sometimes you are a monolid and sometimes you have a bit of a double eyelid, do you use eyelid tape? if so what do you use? i have double eyelids but they tend to get smaller or bigger at times...i think when i tired? super duper hope you reply! btw i love this look i tried it out but i wish i didnt have hooded lids so you could see it....

Just one question... I'm caucasian with deepset eyes (not overly deepset though). Is there a variation of this look for that eye type? I just really love these colors and the look is so beautiful.

@Masteroftrancegirl absolutely! you can use the same colors, just use the lighter color all over your lid below your crease and use the darker shade to contour in the eye socket/outer corners area with a blending brush. :)

@frmheadtotoe Thank you for your reply :-). I really love these taupe colors, they're so versatile. I just got some nyx single eyeshadows in the mail today (frosted flakes, iced mocha, true taupe, sparkle cedar, and vanilla sky).

I think I'm gonna try the frosted flakes on the lid and vanilla sky near the tear duct, and then either iced mocha or true taupe in the crease.

Lol the sparkle cedar is beautiful but the sparkles which go all over the place I'll probably be using that sparingly.

However I do think that the Nyx highlighter is making your face look a little ashy. Perhaps something less white would suit your skintone more. :)
