When He was saying at the end of his speech about how we adults should live up with the expectations and dreams of our children, I couldn't help but held my daughter's hand tightly. I am so moved. Indeed, we need to pay attention to things that unite us instead of magnifying our lives with things that only divide us.

I hope this tragedy be a wake up call for all of us so the future generation of Americans will have a better life and a good moral character.

People comment about how they look at teleprompters. So the result is that Presidents have to spend many hours of their invaluable time perfectly memorizing a speech, something which has never actually happened in this nation's history, for good reason. Obama looks like he is channeling Thatcher. It's good to see that Americans aren't sulking in time of crisis, and that some are standing together in these times of sorrow. This crowd did good to discredit Laughner for sure, the only people giving credit to Laughner now are those of right and left still trying to politicize it. President clearly said here that he isn't going to be one to politicize the assassination attempt.
