  • You are now going on my faves list. WOW. As a coach, it is so wonderful to see someone study the more artistic side of the sport. And the costume is AMAZING. How did you not get the staff tangled in the cord? Very inspiring!

  • @kamwrites Thanks so much! :) Yes there was a lot of practice involved to get that effect to work with out a major flurry of feathers and ice ;) As you can see in many of my other videos, I love using props, however it takes alot of time and a lot of falls to get to appear "easy". My rink always jokes about posting all my "out takes" ;)

  • Amazing!!

  • Oh and btw, I agree with GlitteringGirl65, it is a bit like waiting for Christmas while waiting to see your next programs!

  • Im so happy to see such a positive response to my programs...skating seems to be dominated by a myriad of jumps these days so much so that we have lost a lot of the creativity in the process. It gives me hope that with events like National Showcase our ability to keep the artistic side is still alive!

  • Wow! A true Master's Champion! What you did with that staff was magnificent! It took me a few seconds before I figured out how you did it. Love all your programs!

  • Awesome!!! The best adult skating I have ever seen.

Do you come up with the concepts/choreography, or does your coach?

  • Thanks! I have not had a choreographer since I was 14 and a coach since I was 19. I do all my own work from concept to choreography make up, and costuming :) I grew up in skating as an Ice Dancer but my first love has always been artistic & showcase events. Im glad you enjoy my programs...I will have 2 new programs next month in California..these will be most most challenging to date! :)

    Thanks again!

  • Wow...no coach since 19? Whoever taught you did a wonderful job...

I can't wait to see your new programs. A bit like waiting for Christmas!

With an ice dancing background, no wonder your edges are so sure and deep.

I love the artistic events too. I'm not a huge fan of jumping (seems technical events are still geared towards the jumps), but really enjoy spinning and designing costumes to suit the theme.

  • Yes, I had wonderful coaching. I trained my freestyle under Xavier Videau and my Dance under Don Bruce. I concur with you on the jumping...never been my favorite either, but I love the spinning too :) Thanks again for you wonderful comments!
