I think you did a wonderful job masha'Allah. and dont worry about the others, although they may be right that his music is still music, it has good intentiions, and well, they more likely than not , at the end of the day, go back to listening music like pit bull and all those other artists talking about sex, ponography, alcohol, drugs, gangs, murders, and they STILL bounce their head to the beat. So dont u worry :)
Every video i see when there is a song about islam one person is saying its halaal another saying its haraam. Everyone has opinion, but what we must look at is the message they are sending out. Rather than argue all day
@eastboiray why bother if your method of spreading the message is poor.. like you can go to a club to preach about islam or a outside a masjid.. either way the message is the same but the method of one is much less appropriate. i heard music and i switched it off - so i didnt even hear the message, same way i wouldn't enter a club just becase someones got something beneficial to say.. ultimately music is haraam. masalam
@stefani4444 i understand where you are coming from. it may not be the best of ways to spread a message but unfortunately some people listen to music. id rather them listen to this then lil wayne rubbish. thats all i mean
@eastboiray thats noble of you brother but its not for you to decide. instead your putting yourself in the firing line. i know your intention is pure but that doesnt change the fact that the act is haraam
What is this? I used to laugh at Christians with their gospel singing and say "Alhamdulilah we don't have this in Islam", now we muslims are doing the same!, Subhan'allah what happened to reciting the Quran?
@lifeofthisworld im a scholar. and im saying its haraam, and that not my opinion. the prophet Muhammad (salallahu alaihi wasallam) said 'music causes hypocrisy to grow like water causes crops to grow' the actual words of the hadeeth are 'alghinaa tunbitun nifaaqa, kamaa maa'a tunbitul harath'...(aw kamaa qaala Rasulullah salallahu alaihi wasallam) quoted that from memory so the wording may be not be in the correct order, but i assure you its a saheeh hadeeth. Ma'asalam.
i know your intention is good, may Allah reward you for your good intentions. but music is haraam. enjoining Allah's name with music doesnt make the music halal. please do not let shaytaan get to you brothers, stay strong. maybe remake the video without the music? that way many more muslims will watch your videos and will help you spread the message inshallah.
please do not be offended by my words. im advising you as a sister. and my advice isnt hollow.
@lifeofthisworld idk if they're scholars, but find me a scholar that agrees upon musical instruments. oh and you don't have to be a scholar to read. Muhammad pbuh said "From among my followers there will be some people who will consider illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk, the drinking of alcoholic drinks and the use of musical instruments, as lawful." Brother its NOT worth it. If you give it up for Allah, He promised to give you something better. May Allah guide us
Jazba786 - Asalaam Alaikum. First thing, writing in slang does not make you cool. Second thing, there are differences of opinion when it comes to Music in Islam, always feel free to state your own, but be careful in saying something is Haram - only Allah can make something Haram - no scholar can "make" something Haram based on opinion.
That was great. I think that we should use music if it can make a nasheed more attractive. That was rocking
