Voters in Washington, California, and Oregon are just learning that they did not receive the same type of freedom as those in Denver because Denver was actually smart enough to get its laws put in the state constitution whereas the other states just put it in their statutes. I dont use marijuana although that does not mean I think it should be illegal. They have the right idea. If cannabis users want to make changes to the law then they will have to engage in large scale public disobedience. Like 200 or more people smoking in front of a city hall or police station. They cant arrest everyone. The people could smoke joints instead of using a pipe so that if confronted it could be disposed of and no "paraphernalia". If that was done nation wide the laws would change.
