  • polluting the air and passing germs.

  • have any of you realized yet that the growers of the pot you're smoking vote against legalizing it?

  • .Dave ,please don't insult the roya cdn mounted police.

by call your local police mounties

sad to say the usa police couldn't carry the dog food for our beloved mounties capt canada

  • At least the NH cops were willing to leave the smoking protestors alone. Down here in NJ the state troopers would be rounding them up into a paddy wagon within 30 seconds of the first light-up.

  • keep the usa out of CANADA....its our country.. not yours ...stop hating the weed

  • Voters in Washington, California, and Oregon are just learning that they did not receive the same type of freedom as those in Denver because Denver was actually smart enough to get its laws put in the state constitution whereas the other states just put it in their statutes. Until Washington, California, and Oregon get the laws in their state constitution, then they will continue to get only half way freedom.

  • As much as I agree with a lot of what you guys are for, standing around waving signs really does fuck all.

  • whoosh.....

  • well that is the point of the video...not sure what you think they are hiding.

  • I don't think they're trying to fool anyone. Smoking pot is the safer alternative. People don't deserve to go into cages for the sole act of putting chemicals into their bodies.

  • How can you say that? Think of the children!

  • So? If we are free, we are free to make our own poor decisions. Unless you do something that directly affects another it should be legal to do so.

  • That fine, to do it at home. It can impiar your driving skills, and can be very dangers for kids to do it.

  • haha idiot

  • Did you all make your shit the chronic?

  • it' not about starting a party(although that wouldn't be bad), but more about excercising personal choices according to freedom. if you're an adult and want to smoke pot or drink or smoke cigarettes then that is you're choice. No-one should get slapped in the face or criminalized for making a personal choice that is legal to make. just be responsible for your own actions. Not everybody runs on the same tank of fuel, but we are all going somewhere.

  • "It's not really about the marijuana for me..." Yeah, right.

  • It's about freedom and Marijuana/Cannabis is just one of those free choices. Legalize Please!

  • I'm on your side actually. I like NH and I know the "war on drugs" is an abomination. But I also went to college, smoked for years and I know it is also about pot - and there's nothing wrong with that. It's just funny to hear someone say it isn't.

  • Its about making choices for what goes into your body. This goes for anything out there.

  • I would be out there getting drunk and high as shit, making a big scene.

  • Yeah, stay home. People like you making a big scene are not what we need out there, to make legalizing it happen.

  • I have the right to make a scene.

  • yes you do but you would defeat the purpose.

  • Aren't these people supposed to waste their time with the broken system?

  • good job guys;)Peace&love

  • I'm wondering if they're going to be able to continue doing this everyday once the infamous New Hampshire Winter arrives.

  • I dont use marijuana although that does not mean I think it should be illegal. They have the right idea. If cannabis users want to make changes to the law then they will have to engage in large scale public disobedience. Like 200 or more people smoking in front of a city hall or police station. They cant arrest everyone. The people could smoke joints instead of using a pipe so that if confronted it could be disposed of and no "paraphernalia". If that was done nation wide the laws would change.

  • Smoke pot in my state and you going to jail.

  • You have your own state?

  • peace pot microdot!

  • hello members of the free state. i thank u for this peaceful demonstration. u r right marijuana laws R unjust and Should be attended to.

  • Correction: It may be the case in Manch, but in Keene it is not mostly Free Staters as you stated. In Keene, a couple Free Staters started it but it's now mostly locals participating and only a fraction are Free Staters.

  • And btw, that's the case with a lot of what's happening in Keene. The extremely active Free Keene blog was started by a Free Stater, but now there are quite a lot of locals who are extremely active and we keep inspiring more to get involved.

  • poolman is on like every dave ridley video I have seen arguing stupid points and being childish. People need to just stop talking to him and responding to him.

  • I have seen him on FreeKeene as well. But he will keep posting till someone bites, like I did. Just like Silentnation. I now get it, they want to stir it up, which will embolden everyone's positions. At least Ridley gets more hits. Ignoring them won't stop them either. Its not enough for the gov't to jam their morals down to the people, they need to keep turning the screws on it. They won't stop bagging on him and FSP people they will constantly reply with "the law is good, blah, blah, blah..."

  • *sigh* I love that I am making a difference, however small it may be. "embolden everyone's positions" - you mean the 500 people that moved to NH in the last 6 years for the fsp? Or the 10 or so people who like to be smarty pants on youtube? Christ - even the FOUNDER of the fsp hasn't moved here! LOL.

  • See you just emboldened your position and continuing your dream. Keep those fantastic comments coming. I love reading and rereading your comments like this. "The FSP/ FTL, Ridley is pointless, idiotic, won't make difference, etc.." I get your point, I understand it and would really like to see someone else take a crack at it. It seems that you love the system so much that you want these people to go along to get along. They are not so what are you going to do now besides the same regurgitation?

  • I have never once said Ridley is an idiot - and...more times than not, I have made a point or expressed an opinion or critiqued the way the FSP does things - yet - unless someone says "great vid - f the cops" - you're a *insert name calling*. I could care less if marijuana is legal. Its not a question of whether I love the system or not - its the bullying tactics of fsp'ers in my community - and if you can't see they target the wrong people at every turn - well....

  • so this is how you fight the FSPers back by barraging them with these comments. I got it. Sorry! Go back to your blah, blah, blah. People that dislike the system are annoying, pick a side, get out of NH BS. What I don't know is, do you want to go back to the way it was before FSPers were bullying you and like the system or you don't like the system and you don't like them or a combination?

  • So...since I don't like something - are you suggesting I keep my trap shut? Or that I should be banned from speaking my mind? Isn't that the point of the FSP...to be free? Unlike a cop with a screaming mob in their face, you have the ability to either read/not read/ignore/not ignore my written comments. I will never advocate smoking dope with high school kids in a police lobby - I don't know....perhaps that is a logical thing to do - give drugs to kids and stand idly by and say GREAT VID.

  • Nope, keep running your trap, I am not suggesting anything just wandering where you are coming from. Everybody knows what you are advocating now. Its obvious that you will keep posting the system norm, keep telling these guys to conform to the system, listen, obey, snitch, ridicule, marginalize dissent. Keep doing what you do because these FSPers don't hear it enough.

  • "Everybody knows what you are advocating now" - I've never made it a secret - and I certainly will continue on with what I do, and for that I do not need, seek or desire your permission, approval, best or bad wishes.

  • Awesome! Look forward to it.

  • Your reporting would be so much better if you would stop the annoying intro's, good reports BAD intro's and endings!!

  • Keep up the good work Dave!

  • Kids, your lungs are your life. We all breathe once a minute or more. The exhaust from internal combustion engines and coal plants do enough damage to our lungs.

If you like marijuana, eat a brownie...drink a hemp beer, but don't smoke. I've lost three of my best friends to smoking.

  • Freestaters don't care about kids or their lungs...they were freely smoking pot with 10th graders at the Keene 4:20 events while in the lobby of the police station. Not the brightest way in the world to win the hearts and minds over of people who are on the fence with marijuana use.

  • 0:40 - 0:43 Magnificent!

  • poopooman is back. Hold your nose and look not upon this idiot.

  • The Mounties - "We won't tell if you won't tell"

  • I don't condone marijuana use just as much as cigarettes, both are sh!t for your health. Even so, it is YOUR health. I wouldn't want people smoking weed or tobacco where children could be present. That is obviously left for businesses or local community to decide.

  • Until the war on drug ends. After marijuana is legalized they switch to snorting cocaine in the park.

  • So you want to campaign to give children the right to become junkies?

  • sounds like ridley got in the roto in this video

  • Its hard to take you seriously when your acting like a fish at the beggining of every video. Just a suggestion.

  • He's just a whore for advertisers.

  • really?

  • The Founding fathers grew enormous amounts of bud. Madison got high four times a day.

  • did he?

  • Really? You keep making negative comments about people making videos on victimless crimes? It really is getting old! Please make a comment that is useful besides, "get a job" or "this will go nowhere, idiots" You keep throwing up comments but never offer alternatives to their "idiotic" activities other than obey the law, who cares, blah, blah. Why don't you get back to work since you are the only one that has a "real job".

  • Here's an alternative: get involved in politics or lobbying, and get the law changed.

Here's another alternative: until that happens, don't break the law.

  • The only time truly positive change ever happens is when their perceived legitimacy is at risk. If you back the ruling class up to a wall change will happen, but only as much as is needed to save their own ass.

  • So you achieve change by threatening people?

You mean the way terrorists do things?

  • you achieve change by not giving into the threats made by those with power.

  • No, you said to back them up to a wall. You're implying threatening. "Not giving in" means you don't back up, not backing someone else up.

    Stop inciting terrorism.

  • If no one gave into their threats they would have no power. They are up against the wall because they are faced with either relenting to whatever pressure is being placed on them or losing their illusion of legitimacy. Remember, the state is always the initial aggressor.

  • The state isn't the aggressor. The state makes the rules and has to uphold them for society to function.

That's, you know, how every single society functions. Welcome to civilization.

  • THE GROUP ALTAR DEMANDS SACRIFICE! spill your blood and the almighty group will be appeased.

    its dogmatic bullshit

  • No, it's purely logical.

Why don't you get into politics so you can figure out how these things actually work?

  • why don't you go bomb some more children, and go ruin someones entire life for dealing with the wrong substance at the wrong time.

    u sik fuk

  • Is there a right time to deal with the wrong substance?

    You're funny.

  • murderer

  • Run out of ideas already?

  • forgive me for not being more excited about conversing with immoral trash.

  • What do I do that's immoral? I don't break the law.

  • Oh sorry, I must be confused. I thought you were a tax payer who helped fund all the bombs that missed their targets and all the bullets that just didn't quite fly straight, or all the cold metal cages built for people who may not be much different then yourself. I guess I was mistaken

  • Apology accepted.

  • I am glad we got things cleared up. I am done talking with you. Now scurry back under your bridge.

  • Oh, we don't have to stop. I think we can make progress now, since you've admitted you were wrong.

  • I said get back under your bridge! shooo foul creature! don't make me grab my broom.

  • The horse I'm riding can't fit under the bridge. It's too high.

  • p00lman: "So you achieve change by threatening people?"

No, that's what the government does.

  • Nope, the government doesn't threaten people. Do you have some examples?

  • Nevermind, I realize now you're just a narrow-minded sheep that sucks off the tit of the government. Go back to your COPS tv show. Everything is OK.

  • rataMacue - Everytime you freestaters can't think of any logical counter, your egos start beating the bongo - this lame comment you made is nothing new.

    Freestater: "The earth is flat"

Normal Person: "Pics show it to be round"

Freestater: "But we want it flat"

    Normal Person: "Yeah but...it isn't"

    Freestater: "Troll"

  • I'm not a free stater. Nice try though.

  • Of course you're not...just some hapless guy who happened to wander into a freestater vid and felt compelled to comment the comment section. Nice try with the nice try bit - as if you've spiked one over the net.

  • But they case isn't ever actual evidence of reality when someone comes along with a new idea that challenges the status quo. The case made when you have no real evidence is that it's the status quo, i.e. lots of people believe it so it's true. That's democracy-- majorities taking advantage of minorities because they can. Mob rule. That's what you're really saying when you say to work through the system and change the law. But the system is exactly the root of the problem.

  • So all you have is insults but no examples? Typical.

  • All laws are enforced using threat. Threat of stealing your money, your kids and/or your property; threat of jail and/or violence.

It's not that there are no examples, but it's clear you're only here to argue.

  • You're hilarious. Is someone threatening to steal your kids?

Oh, I get it, you have a history of beating your kids, and someone is threatening to have them taken away somewhere safe from you unless you leave them alone.

    Aren't laws just terrible?

  • Ummm, no I don't beat my kid. See what I mean? Like arguing with a dining room table... as someone once said.

There are numerous cases where kids are taken from their parents on a single, unfounded tip from someone with a grudge. Instead of investigating first, they just steal the kid(s).

But you're just focusing on this one example because you think you;re insulting me or something. You have issues.

  • Your example has nothing to do with threats or enforcing the law. You're talking about lying, blackmail, abusing the system.

    Paranoids are so funny.

  • ... whatever t00lman.

  • Help, the government is threatening me! It doesn't want me to beat my children!

  • That's how they enforce their laws. And there are a growing number who no longer buy into the bullshit contrivances they use to create these arbitrary laws with no victims.

If one person robs you, it's a crime. If bunch of people gang up and rob you, it's democracy. I don't care how many people believe it, it's non-sensical. Just like any other religion, having lots of followers doesn't make it true.

  • Who's robbing you?

Oh right, you're talking about taxes, which are constitutionally protected under the 16th Amendment.

  • If I lived in Manchester, I'd call the cops on these idiots in a heartbeat.

  • And no, the laws aren't wrong. And if they are, they'll be overturned regardless of what NH idiots do.

  • Given your plan of calling the cops on these idiots, that is justifying the law to be enforced and it will never be overturned. Gov't only grows and we will soon be in your nirvana, the ultimate police state. Who says you have to be in Manchester to call on these idiots? In your view the laws are not wrong. In their view the laws are wrong. These are statutes since there is not a victim anyway. Remind us again who is being threatened? Change happens when bad laws are overturned? I don't get it.

  • I never said laws should be changed, creating a police state. I am advocating that existing laws be upheld, and that people abide by them.

"Remind us who is being threatened?"

That's not a question. Neither is your second statement-as-question.

  • This is how laws get overturned. You break the law in question and fight it in court. Roe v. Wade ring a bell? It is because of this very reason why the police are not arresting them, court precedent is a bitch.

  • Yeah right....there have been marijuana sit ins since the 60's - and no Supreme Court case law...besides which....the freestate mantra is that judges and police are corrupt - so your theory sucks. Either the court is corrupt or they create case law that benefits people....PICK A SIDE.

  • Are you 12 years old?

  • To offer an appropriate analogy for abortion, which can be used to save a mother's life, you could certaily find a way to get marijuana legalized for medical use.

But just as abortion is legal up to a certain point, neither should marijuana go completely without restrictions.

  • great way to spread herpes

  • Remember, when you go to rallies, and people want to chant something that has three syllables, use the term LI-BER-TY as your chant rather than USA since the Constitution is all about Liberty and the USA is really a consequence of the first.

  • Cops would be seen as heroic by many more people if they only enforced crimes with a victim. Personally, if there's gonna be a police force I would only want them to investigate homicides. That would be much more efficient. Less work for them. Other crimes with a victim could be handled privately.

  • that's right, because rape, assault, and theft are not worthy of their attention....

  • u r right kdurston All these things r worthy of Family attention. the police do Nothing to prevent Any of it. for years the justice systum has been jailing people yet we sit in a nation that hates each other. we need a New soulution. maybe these FS's r on to something.

  • so our families are going to take care of incest and rapes? Mosaic law is a little too far fetched for a densely populated , technologically advanced society. police have never prevented crime, they investigate and "prosecute" crimes that have been committed. i don't think you've actually thought out your ideas here. however i do think the FS are on to something... but certainly not what your promoting.

  • Wish I was there! Still need to find a job in NH.

  • freestateproject(dot)org/nhinfo/jobs

  • 4:40 - more smart aleck baiting. If they don't show up - freestaters start hemorrhaging - if they do stop they start playing bongos and chanting they're not free. If that cop stopped - he would have been harassed to NO END - as seen in the Keene events. Still...someone on here will have some disparaging remarks about them nonetheless.

  • Good grief....these open ended one liners are so lame. Submitting to what? What great depths of imprisoned feelings are you about to blather on about ...

  • So let me get this right....you claim you don't debate idiots...yet are trying to engage me in a debate (after all you did end a sentence with a question mark to me). MAKE UP YOUR MIND. lol - amazing.

  • so many catagories we the people have put others in. this is youtube eh? youtube has Real people too u know, it is not All ill will committees.

  • u told me there was really bad behavior from this event but i didn't see any. i lOOked at these people and i can see the vast majority r peaceful people.

have u ever considered that marijuana laws just may Be unjust? they r u know.

  • Ummm, I never said any of that.
