Hey, I can't listen to this. She sounds like the biggest politician. How much tip toing through the horse poop can one person do? She keeps stammering and making the interviewer fill in the blanks. Why not just say that the WWE didn't have material and they fired her? Jerry quit in portest and then found out she was no good. Thats the thing..the kat was NEVER A "Wrestler" She even said "no i am not a wrestler i'm just here to entertain..blah blah blah. she said shes more of a cat fighter and she felt not everyone thought wrestling was entertaining enough alone. she was more of the diva who wanted to have theme matches and fun short fights. She May have never been a wrestler And She May have been a horrible champion BECAUSE She wasn't..but to me she was different,entertaining,and adorable as chyna's valet :P

Wait...I'm confused. Ivory got her fired? I figured The Kat was fired because Jerry Lawler and Vinny Mac had a falling out over the failing XFL investment and The Kat was just collateral damage. Not that she was a very good wrestler (I blame her and Sable for preventing Tori and Luna from getting a title reign as Women's Champions) but she seemed to do what she was told; she did get naked in front of thousands of people. the reason the kat was fired was that vince sees whroes and girlfreinds as a dime a dozen. The kat wasnt a wrestler, she was lawlers whore and she had the looks to make vince some money. However, as time marched on, she was never more than a whore and she slept with photgrpahers and other wrestlers and in this rare case, vince was protecting his business so he got rid of her. She was just sleeping around and didnt care whom she hurted.. IVORY did a shoot on THE KAT and discussed this.

The Kat was a hottie, but that's all she was. She couldn't wrestle, but she always won because she was sexy and she was banging Jerry Lawler. In fact, Lawler's the only reason she got a job with WWF. It's a crock that she got to be Women's Champion, but Luna and Tori didn't.

Her contribution to WWF was fan entertainment not wrestling. The Kat said, "I'm really not a wrestler, cat fighting is more my thing". She was improving towards the end of her career like Tori. Luna turned down the Women's belt more than once after Vince offered it to her.

@onetoomany100 I find it extremely hard to believe Luna turned down being Women's Champion. Luna said in interviews that they wanted to give her the belt but Sable kept making up excuses not to job to her. As for Tori, she was an actual wrestler with many years of experience before coming to WWF, not a glorified bikini model.

Stacy Carter was hired by WWF purely because of the man she was dating at the time. Her age is no excuse. Victoria was the same age when she started wrestling.

@TheJohnnyCotts My friend's cousin was on NXT, age plays a HUGE factor into training. Victoria & Kat are the same age (Victoria was more conditioned than Kat so therefore she could skip a few chapters into official training). Although Victoria may have been physically built for wrestling but I'm sure it wasn't easy training at the age of 30. Ask any wrestler if there is a difference between the age of 21-25 years to 30 years old. Many wrestlers train young because age makes a difference.

@TheJohnnyCotts I also believe Stacy was hired because of King ,which helped advanced in her career but she is still talented. People who get to the top by sleeping around? Talk about HHH. Kat had credentials before working WWF, hosted morning show for Channel 5 in Memphis prior. She had wrestling knowledge to be a valet, interact, & displayed charisma. Whether one considers "cat fighting" an art form or not it has it's place in the wrestling world, although it doesn't define one as a wrestler.

It's TRUE Sable "forgot" the belt (Debra also said this). I remember another interview where Luna said she turned it down after years of being discouraged from carrying people & not wanting the belt handed to her as a gimmick. She really wanted to be a LEGIT women's champ. Love you Luna!

She never went to any wrestling school. she was the lady of lawler and back then most of the wrestlers brought their girlfriends or strippers they met the night before to matches and during the late 80's and 90's, vicne would give them a job on the show. The girlfriends who stuck around were given characters as valets. Then some braniac decided to give these girls characters. They were not wrestlers however.
