@ekoppisch well, if the liberal media and a liberal president dont agree, then... what? right wing media and conservatives may also have a slobbering love affair... fox. this is why i watch cnn
@ekoppisch Yes, because electing the president of the United States is not a historic moment, no matter what part the candidate is from. You are only saying that because you dislike Obama. Grow up.
the day that the nightmare of REPUBLICAN rule came to a crashing end. Still gives me chills. It was the second American revolution, faught and won at the voting booth this time instead of the field of battle, but still non the less important. Those people celebrating felt that way too. Finally after 8 years, the GOP power was broken :)
LOL And Demacrats still cant even gain enough votes for Helth Care.Republicans are already Comeing back NJ an VA ! 2010 Demacrats will lose all there power and 2012 you will see the election 2004 map all over again The Republicans are more fired up then ever .The 2010 census will make the north east lose electorel votes and seats .THe South will Gain big time because of all the liberal taxing and regulation and quallity of life that liberal blue states have to offer.Red states are gaining
um..., first learn how to spell HEALTH, and use the right THIER and a few others. Also, health care is passing, and if it isnt it is simply because GOP members are doing nothing to help but kill it. Also, VA NJ are not indicators of anything, lets not forget NY 23rd. So relax killer, cus unless you are making over 200 thousand a year you aint got nothing to bitch about, and if you do make 200 thousand you shouldnt be bitching anyways.
This video makes me so happy... from the dramatic music that started when Keith started to announce it and the states on the map started flashing, to the tone in Keith's voice that told you how touched he was to announce it, and then Grant Park with that flag being waved and the huge crowd cheering... absolutely fantastic.
After dealing with such DISPAIR and AGONY these past 8 years, people were ready for any bit of hope they could cling to. Obama represented such hope. Hope that a new mindset would lead the US and hope that minorities could rise to the presidency. Let's just hope that the promise of a new day can fix the financial state of affairs the US (and world) is in right now. We must stay UNITED and look long-term.

Your country has been fucked because Clinton wanted poor blacks to have homes (watch video /watch?v=sDAl4Q3NJ-U&feature=related). You must be one of those blacks who expect other people to support you through life 'cause you play the victim game.
I thought that was Olberman's voice cracking up. I didn't get to see this because I was at a watch party that night. Keith is awesome though. He's an actual real person.
