i have a 92 accord LX automatic and if i floor it from a dead stop it wont even spin the tires, the only time that it will spin them is if im turning a corner in the rain so i was wondering if yours would do it, because i want to know if something is wrong with my car
I know! I also have a 92 accord lx and I can't ever get it to burn out. What it does do really well though is break torquing, which is when you push on the brakes and the gas at the same time at a dead stop, then let go of the breaks. You get amazing acceleration and sometimes if you push the gas enough you'll get a nice squeal. Hope that helps :).
If yours is close to mine in manufacturing, your fuel pump should be going out soon(ha ha). They need some nurturing after 175,000 miles. I've had few problems but overall they are good cars. I would like to put in a vtec and interior but for now its all stock.
