this mod is the most ridiculous mod to setup its not even funny, im no idiot but no matter what i do it wont work on my computer i wish it did though : ( and i wish they just made a simple damn file that you can place in your Arma2 folder

@luckyStrike89ru Well six updater is a web based client you can get from ARMAHOLIC. All it does really is you select the mods, it downloads them. compresses them into mod folders for you, and thats it. If you do get ARMA II with ACE, prepare to be blown away

It's a small RC camera, fired from a 40 mm grenade launcher, which deploys a chute and connects with a hand held device. I actually never tried to shoot it, but I guess you can destroy it.

Go into Main Arma file / userconfig/ACE/ace_clientside_­config - edit this- look for a

"EDIT below THIS LINE

Save and exit... that's all ;) Everything should work well.

P.S = everytime you update ACE, check this file ;)

You mean the the Graphics Engine from "The Hunter" are the same as Arma II? Or "The Hunter" has the nicer Graphics? I Think the Graphics from the Hunter are better programming and running smotther than Arma II

Arma could really use a better graphics engine, not just for the graphics but also for improved framerate and less bugs..

I hope the next Arma game uses a licenced prooven-to-be well built engine rather than making their own again, they obviously arent very good at it :P

Certainly not. This is an engine which is capable of running even operations from the infantry level. HuntIR is a simulator specifically (and only) designed for flight simulation. If you go to ground level the graphics drop dramatically. It's all visual effects. Newb.

I have a laptop and arma 2 runs perfectly on max settings.

It would only cost you about 900 dollars to buy a pc that can run this. Even pre-built.

I download this mod through armaholic and still couldn't get it to work, even with the recommended mod folder approach, and now I'm afraid to tinker with it because my friend had the mod working for a while but now can't even access arma anymore

I know some dumb mods are auto-kick on servers but can the A.C.E. mod get that authorization so it can be used on all servers like sound mods??

and last time i put mod on i had to reinstall ARMA.

In real life its not a "predator" missle.

The UAV its fired from is called a "predator drone" and the missle is a "AGM maverick"

Call of duty just likes to fuck everything up and make mavericks completley maneuverable and name them whatever they want.

Plus one RPG takes down a KA-52 in that game. . . . sure.

In falcon mavericks are T.v. guided so you see it, but i dont think you can slew (control) in the air

If you know how something is called, call it that way, you will avoid misunderstandings. And to answer your question: Hellfire missiles were implemented in ACE1 the proper way (laser guided), but there were no predators in ACE1, I heard that is planned, so at some point there probably will be possibility to fire missiles from predator : )

Totally agree it is not a "predator missile", BUT it is also not maverick. Predators carry AGM-114 Hellfire (mavericks are kinda big, ya know). Call of duty is entertainment, not simulation, so there is no point discussing the accuracy of tech displayed there.

styx, probably.... i mean most of the ACE mod was to add sort of genuine tech and new weapons to arma, which already bases itself as a military simulator based upon real weapons and vehicles.
