i saw the 2nd part of this story a week or two ago...they gave the stepdaughter a lie detector test and she failed horribly...as the show progressed she apologized...it didn't seem heart felt but she admitted she did put hair remover into her step mom's products and apologized...

This is only a few minutes of the whole show, so for those that didn't see the whole episode I'll give you a breakdown: Girl got bruise on arm, when teacher asked how she got it she said her stepmom pinched her. The school called child services and they called the parents and asked questions. Then it goes to the stepmom talking about her baldness that she claims is because of the stepdaughter (despite the fact that weaving damages hair). The stepmom just hates on the girl the whole episode.

the burn you feel when relaxing your hair is the acid trying to burn through your scalp. Recommended viewing, youtube this 'Good Hair was All She Wanted '

Relaxer can do the same damage as skin bleach if not worse.... its an acid

@Applebaum: I'm aware of what chemical relaxers can do to the scalp and what causes the (not just a feeling) burns and scabs.

Unfortunately she doesn't have an ounce of proof her step daughter did this. So it's best to let it go. Someday the mystery will be solved. She may confess or the reason for this serious damage to her scalp will be revealed.
