If anyone is having problems with the load time on consoles just turn off auto-save. It's a bit risky to turn it off if you don't usually save manually but turning auto-save off speeds up loading time.

@fred5954 It's because they only have two gigs of RAM, while it's pretty much standard for PCs to have eight. If you play on PC with the proper MODs, you can dump the speed to nearly ten seconds.

Recently patched (On xbox idk bout PS3 or PC) where doesnt work.

However, you can still complete this by saving after you leave your house. Then, load that save and THEN re-enter and check the mannequin. Hope this helps!!!!!

@ICEcoolGamerz Go to the Jarl of Markarth, and tell him you want to buy a house. He will ask you to run him a couple of favors, after which he will allow you to buy property in his town. It won't be the same home as the one above, but I just tested this glitch and it works just fine in any house with a mannequin.

Does this work on consoles? It sucks how alot of things that work on PC can't or don't on consoles. Then again my PC probably wouldn't be able to play Skyrim up to par with my ps3 seeing as I have nearly a bottem line slimline HP. Though I can play WoW smoothly but on low settings. Probably wouldn't be able to fully enjoy skyrim in full detail on my PC like I can on my PS.

@ZzDropshots Remember, this can be done in any of the homes that have a Mannequin. The only one that doesn't have one is Breezehome in Whiterun I believe.

You should be able to pick the lock, or you will need to go to the Jarl and tell them you want to buy a house. They will then ask you to do them a couple of favors, after which they will allow you to purchase property in their town.
