I know I'm super biased in saying this, but Built to Spill is one of the best bands in the world, they still keep the roots of "rock n roll" alive. Look at MTV or any other mainstream bullshit they have out there, and compare them to bands like Built to Spill. I just don't get music now and I'm only 26, it's sad to say but music wise I have more in common with "hippie" Woodstock people than with my own generation.

this song is complex but catchy,

it's long but you can't get enough of it.

it's skillfully and inteligently crafted, yet it speaks to your emotional core.

it's just the phenomenon that is Built to Spill - apparently the most underappreciated jem of the last two decades of music

@thejonathann Underappreciated to who......the masses. You know the old adage, the masses are for the asses...no. I have seen them live 6 times in the past two years. Way more than any other band. You must come to terms that most people listen to music to forget and not to feel current time because I assume it is too hard for them to handle. But you my boisterous friend feel free to insult those who have a hard time relating beause their minds are tied to issues me and you will never know..

@jamesoshea4444 you're right. their underappreciated by the ones who didn't take the time and mind to know them. it just bugs me that people miss out on alot of great music, that i'm sure they can physically enjoy, just because they are not exposed to it. only because the big flashy guns get most time on the air. because mainstream media can't care less about innovation, or art, they are in it for the lowest common ground. cause it's the most profitable. i just want to share good experience.
