Fair to Midland is one of the few really good bands to emerge in the last 15 years. In an era of mediocre hard rock bands, Fair to Midland stands out front with its complex songwriting and musical ability. Although I would describe their music to someone unfamiliar as a cross between Dream Theater and Faith No More, they are still very original in sound. They have not sold out their sound to become a mainstream success, but as a music lover, that's what I like best about them.
