  • The brush cleaner he's using must be a mild one. Revell's would take the sealer and base coat right off.

  • Anyone know if he's sealing the camo before the white going on?

  • @Polarskates

Yer, he used tamiya clear gloss.

If he didn't use a sealer, well he would take the white and the dark yellow camo off.

  • Noriyuki Kato is a master!! Excellent video!! Thank you for posting this video on YouTube!!

  • im a starter at modeling but this really helped me out a lot, might use painting techniques in this vid on my second model

  • Does any one know where I can find that Liquitex Brush Cleaner ?? I really want to try this Metod of Wear & tear on White Wash . These Collection of Videos are AWESOME !!

  • awesome ice painting techniques !!!!

  • nice

  • are these videos just skipping the addition of protective layers inbetween layers of paint?

Like adding Klear/future in between the base and the white winter camo or between that and the wash?

  • Epic in the best wayy.

  • This... IS....awesome!

  • These videos are so nice, it´s just like getting a brand new Tamiya Catalogue to ogle! ;-)

  • Brush Cleaner is producted by "ColArt Company"

  • Realistic fading winter scheme!

  • gazpalmer- the hairspray method, from what I understand it, is you put your main color down, then apply the hairspray (water based I think), then put your other color then wipe away where the hairspray is at. This is supposed to show your primary color underneath.

  • OK... does somebody have an idea where one can buy this Brush Cleaner in the Web? From the which manufacturer is the Brush Cleaner?

    Thanks.

  • badger!

  • Acrylics you can clean out by spraying a thorough amount of "Isopropylalcohol" with a drop of "washing up liquid" added, then spray pure distilled water (twice) secondly.....Oil based enamels and such you can clean out by spraying cellulose thinner....If you plan to take a break (i.e vacation) you should use method 2 followed by method 1...Leave tool to dry thoroughly!!! • This vid isn't about Phil...

  • Who the hell is phil stinkass?

  • These guys ALWAYS bust out with the Tamiya brown/black wash mix no matter what model it is!

  • Its dead easy to do.

If your doing a white wash on your model AFV and need to make it looked worn, what you do is paint your base coat followed by a coat of future or gloss to protect your paint.then you spray hairspary all over the model.let dry and add your white wash all over you model.let the white dry for and hour or so,then take a stiff brush and some warm water and start to scrub off some of the white paint revealing some of the base coat.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.

  • You are a fucking genius!!!!

  • Now I get it! TY.

  • Good effect on the winter white wash.

But i think the hairspray method is better, specialy on the white wash look.

  • Could you tell me what the hairspray method is? Sounds interesting!
