  • Hey, Captain! That loud warning alarm for GEAR DOWN is really hurting my ears, cant you turn it off.....Sure Bob, it really is loud. I'll turn it off After we land. Im busy right now.

  • 1. Thankfully they are OK. 2. Why was the alarm blaring?

  • A perfect three-point Landing ~ On his knees and nose!!

  • Excellent gear-up landing. Would have been a greaser with gear down.

  • Dang helicopter pilots trying to do a fixed wing pilot's job. I'm glad they're OK.

  • Bu kadar düdük sesi,pes artık. !!!

  • that's why you don't fly crew aircraft

  • no more license for them!

  • CGUMPS.. Cowl, Gas, UNDERCARRAGE, Mixture, Prop, Seatbelts and Switches...

  • well any crash you get to walk away from is a good thing

  • First problem.... where is the Checklist, then screw chklist, what happened to GUMP, oh wait, 3 people on board and no one says... whats that sound???

  • ‎(Forest)

    GUMP.. GEAR, UNDERCARRAGE, MIXTURE, PROP

    Is Now A

CHUMP: Currently, Has, Useless, Mangled, Plane..

  • @2Nu GAS not Gear.. Gear = Undercarrage..

  • that

    biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiipppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp

    means GEAR DOWN

    you deaf!!!!!!

  • It look as if gear is not down, he is very low when he finally sit down on the runway....

And it really sound as if he go directly on the belly too....

  • High altitude landing (~5.6K ft on altimeter) on a short, up-sloped field (2000ft. of runway at most), with hills all around. This pilot was clearly in over his head and was so focused on getting in that he blocked out everything else including the glaring horn. And he came in far left of center line to boot. I hope the wine & cheese tasting was worth it.

  • @SuperGmantis: It's called task saturation, and it can happen to any of us. Auditory cues are usually the first to go in cases of stress.

  • Was it a real emergency or what??? I can´t even emegine that the pilot avoid that ALARM!!!

  • Flows first and then the checklist...

  • that's the big problem with the Trinidad GT. I've flown one and it's stall horn sounds identical to the gear warning horn. Not nice to deal with.

  • @V3ryfun2fly you should not be hearing the stall horn that high to begin.

  • What I wouldnt give to understand their language... Come on sir, tell us how you feel

  • "Hey man what's that noise?"

"I don't know, land this bird so we can eat."

  • How hard is it to complete a GEAR DOWN BEFORE LANDING CHECKLIST !!!??? freaking amateurs. Even when I KNOW the gear is down I still make it a habit to confirm it three times within 5 miles of the field. This was a $25,000 mistake if not more. So much for your nice Socata Trinidad you idiots.

  • In this case flaps up might have helped them as well as to have stopped the prop if this was a deliberate gear up landing. Minimize the damage to the plan. But this land was just pure negligence.

  • Can anyone see what altitude they were at? Hypoxia might be a factor.

  • jesus christ that sound is annoying. BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPPPPPP!

  • Well.. It WAS a nice plane. How do you mis that gear warning horn. Looks like a nice day to. :-( Always check Gear mixture prop on short final (and several times while on the approach).

  • WTF, can you not hear that warning tone?

  • Two words for ANY pilot to live by.... CHECK LIST.

  • Now THAT takes talent... Especially when the GEAR WARNING horn is screaming.

  • Socata Trinidad GT, in half the price, anyone?

  • Hey.. at least they had the flaps down.

  • it is THREE Guys Crash Plane Despite Alarm.

maybe the alarm was not piped to the headset?

they need a woman's voice to tell them to lower the gear.

  • Gear switch down

    Undercarriage indicates down

    Make sure the gear's down

Please, make sure the gear's down

    Stupid, put down the GEAR!

  • Read the CHECKLISTS guys !!!!

  • maybe the alarm should have been in french.

  • @nothsim

    LOL

  • Engine needs rebuilding, undercarriage must be fixed. Not a good day.

I don't think the video makes any difference. The insurance company will know what happened.

  • One way to shorten the roll-out!

  • GUMPS!

  • Gas

    UNDERCARRIAGE

    mixture

    Propeller

    Switches

  • Why would you post this video? I know, so your insurance company could see what you did and not pay!

  • @comaz the aircraft has long been repaired. Google the aircraft registration

  • @bajesus666 :)

  • Translation in the cockpit: "Did you put the gear down?" "No, I thought you put the gear down." Saving tire wear, anyway.

  • AIR HEADS

  • they had a quite good active noise reduction, i guess! :D

  • Headsets must have been on too tight.

  • Forgot to lower the landing gear before landing, a classic.

Le pilote à oublié de sortir les roues avant l'atterissage. Erreur classique d'un pilote avec peu d'expérience.

  • GUMPS!
