It's really cool to burn off the last of your tire before you buy a new one, but it sure makes one hell of a mess underneath the fender. I won't do it to my bike. No sense creating work for yourself when you could be out riding and enjoying the freedom instead.
Me and the wife went to SC from Ky. Me and the wife plus the sissy bag and side bags put over 600 lbs on it. Did just fine. Even when we went over jelico mountain. Realy couldn't tell we were so loaded down.

The 1300 can pull it's weight just fine.
I've done a few 5 gear burnouts at rallies on mine.
Nothing beats throwing up a wall of smoke in 5'th gear at low RPM's

I was lookingat one of these are they kind of fast? how much power? that was pretty good for 2nd gear and a big guy. and only a 1300

That tire in the video was slick and in need of replacing at the time. I replace it with Brigdestone spit fires.
