We both have very similar looking Ibanez guitars. The differences I can see are the fret dots and where the patch input is located. Great job on this blues/rock instrumental.
do you use the onboard effects? i have an mrs 8 (also by zoom) and in my opinion the fx are severely lacking in quality, but your vids all sound great.
really? i'm thinking of buying one.. I have pro tools but i'm sick of my mac crashing and deciding to not work when it wants... Did u have to use any external pres? I've been told since the times are changing multitracks are using better pre amps in them
Awesome! When most people post a video of them playing/improving, they always seem to try to play as fast as they can like it is a race or somthing.......but you REALLY PLAY you seem to know how blance everything out so that it makes the audience what to hear more. KEEP IT UP.
As I'm considering an HD16 myself, I'm wondering a bit about the outputs. Do I read properly that they are RCA? Does this mean you can play a band through a surround sound home stereo system OR are PA speakers better - I am planning on buying speakers as well- thanks~
Thanks! The effects come straight from my gnx3 pedal board. I don't have a good mic and don't like fooling around trying to find a good mic'd amp sound. I haven't tried the effects in the HD16 yet. The HD16 has RCA and 1/4" stereo outputs. You can use PA or a surround stereo. (The farther a track is panned L/R the more it will come through the rear speakers.) I recommend studio speakers for mixing. Don't mix on a home stereo as it may only sound good on that stereo!
thanks alot man , im gonna be getting the hd16 do to how easy it is to use ,, it will be my first cd track recorder ,, plus it has abuilt in drum machine and u can record on multiple tracks at 1 time ,, and it has fantom power on all channels ive heard ,,, thats sweet
man that was awsome ,,,, so how easy is the zoom hd16 im looking to buy 1 ,, plus i was wondering did u make the drum track off the zoom drum section on the hd16 ,,,, sounds great i wonder if the cd u made sounds just ass good ,,,, thank you
Thanks, if you've used older generation multi trackers before the hd16 is a giant leap forward and easy very easy to use. I did use a basic drum beat from the unit on this and did the fills on the built in pads in real time. The cd quality is of course better than the mono youtube version.

Sweet. I'm picking up an HD16 within a month or 2. Your videos show me what it can do! What do you use to edit and sync your video with??????
john67elliott 2 years ago
I use Windows Movie Maker. You should already have it on your computer. WMM and the HD16 will take practice to get used to but are great tools.

i didn't know such sound could occur on an Ibanez!
that was really great, brought me back to the 60's, though i'm 16. haha
tommyv331992 3 years ago
No one remembers the 60's. I was the only sober one in that decade because I was a baby.
