  • I'm with United Karate also! I'm one of Dan Haymore's students from Blairsville!

  • @Luckyfirerabbit Well "Son" to you then (that wat we say when we bow) : - )

  • United Karated Studios teaches Tae Kwon Do....was not aware of them teaching Kung Fu. Are you a Ben Kiker UKS student?

  • @daltonsbadboy Yes, I am a Ben Kiker (UKS) student. We do teach Kung-Fu.

This form for us is considered an intermediate form. Although in Kung-Fu it would only be a white belt/sash form.

  • Terrific form! Well done.

    5 shuriken stars!

  • hmm nice form, so which martial arts created this one? And, is this martial art practical to real life situations?

  • Jung567- Thanks for your comment!

This is a beginner Kung-Fu form; it is a part of the United Karate Studios fighting system so that we may have a greater appreciation for the Kung-Fu arts (and artist).

To answer to second question- I would say parts of it are practical, but it is more of a form that builds attributes (flexibility, strength, and balance) rather than fighting skills.

  • I humbly disagree with the last statement. Although this seems to be a beginner form and I haven't seen it before, the applications are quite apparent (for a Kung Fu practitioner) and very practical. These forms provide a dictionary of various moves, it's up to the student to become fluent in the language of Kung Fu and to understand what situation call for which response.

  • Hey nimantis thanks very much for your comment.

I think it would be cool if someone would do a video on Kung-fu forms applications.

  • cool brother, very nice!
