@lastkiss311 Your welcome:D Well if you're coming out here for the summer you should definitely wear shorts and a tank top, or light clothing because it can get hot here, especially if you're at Disneyland or Universal. If you're not coming in the summer, I would wear some comfortable jeans, a shirt, comfortable shoes (your feet start hurting within ours), and a jacket.:)

I just wondering, is the price between macys at Downtown and macys at Beverly Center 8500 equal? is it safe travel from LAX to Sunset Boulevard by public transport? (we thinking about hop on to FlyAway Bus to Union Station then take metro rail to Hollywood Highland Station then walk to Hotel at La Brea it probably around 9pm) thanks :)

To answer your question I would say the Macy's at the Beverly Center is most likely going to be more expensive because of its location; it's not too far away from Beverly Hills. It's safe for you to take public transportation from LAX to Sunset:D You should be ok! Just make sure you buy a ticket at Union Station because you could really get into trouble if you don't! @Igottafeelingism Hello! To answer your question, all of Los Angeles isn't filled with rich people. I'm not even close to rich and I live here. It's all about location. If you want to live in Beverly Hills then yes, you need to make plenty of money. Brentwood, Bel-Air, parts of Hollywood and maybe Downtown can get pretty pricey. If you move here with roommates the rent shouldn't be that hard to make, especially with maybe four people.

@Gnumchuck Your welcome! As a matter of fact I think I can give you some names of some shops and eateries. It's very expensive to eat in Beverly Hills everyday. You can always go to Farmer's Market, which is not far from Bevery Hills at all. Farmer's Market has a lot of good stuff to eat and buy. You can visit the Grove, where a lot of celebrities go. There's Hollywood and Highland. There's always IHOP! IHOP has the best pancakes. There are places to eat and buy things at the Pier as well.

I would also consider places like the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Beverly Hills, the beach (maybe Venice beach or the Santa Monica Pier), Third Street Promenade, L.A. Live, the Grove (a lot of celebrities go to the Grove), Farmer's Market, maybe even Six Flags Magic Mountain. Plenty of places to see and visit:D

I lived in Los Angeles (Park LaBrea Apts) from '98-'02 and viewing this piece brought back memories. It was a fun experience and I see the Beverly Center is still as empty as it was when I lived out there and frequented BC! I do remember the pet store which was one of the first stores to the left as you came up off of the escalators. Was the Sunglass Hut still across the hall? Thanks for posting.

I would love to live theeere! seems like a safe city.. well at least, safer than NYC. planning to move to the US. I'm currently living in Singapore, one of the safest cities in the world.. so, yea moving to NYC would be a major shock to me. but hey, I want to see the world .. so just brace myself and come what may ;)

I lived in Los Angeles (Park LaBrea Apts) from '98-'02 and viewing this piece brought back memories. It was a fun experience and I see the Beverly Center is still as empty as it was when I lived out there and frequented BC! I do remember the pet store which was one of the first stores to the left as you came up off of the escalators. Was the Sunglass Hut still across the hall? Thanks for posting.
