@dzero34 Hehehehe, you should have seen my Dutch grandmother's face when she saw it, she took it as a personal attack from Börge on her :-) I was only 7 yrs old at the time, but I do remember. Love to watch it, especially because I hear my brother laughing in it. He was 5 when it was recorded.

Børge Ring is one of my favorite animation artists. He is danish but mooved to Holland with his family many years ago.

I guess it reffers on how parents try to educated and avoid all bad thing for their children and they fear that their children leave home to make their lives; here since it's a little girl, they fear that she leaves home with some guy, get pregnant and forget about them...just like the scene when the fathers wears a crown and then he feels like he's not that important because his daughter found a soulmate....altough at the end it is.
