The lunar photographs were exposed for the brightly lit daylight surface. A daylight exposure on Earth at night would not show stars either because they would be badly underexposed. Similarly, the astronauts did not see stars in the lunar daylight skies because their eyes were adjusted for the brightly lit scenes around them.

The videosignal was of narrow bandwidth, not compatible with broadcasting TV signals. Therefore, the image was put up on a monitor and a broadcasting type camera filmed it from the screen of that monitor. That's partly why the image quality is so poor. And, if there is a Coke bottle, it is reflected in the screen of the monitor from which the sceen is filmed.
I respectfully doubt your explanation with extreme prejudice; add all the other anomalies in the apollo project and there is more then enough hoax proof.

Another "ghost reflection" (of the backpack) is seen moving right to left about 0:30.
@EGMAG If You look carefully, that's an inverted, mirrored "ghost picture" of the astronaut.. You can even see his arm, and it moves at the same speed as the astronaut, but in opposite direction. The same goes for the "ghost picture" of the brightly illuminated backpack at 0:30.
Ask anyone who knows about the 60's TV technology. I've worked with it, but don't take my words for it. Ask around. "Ghost pictures" were common during the analouge days. Especially if the signal was "weak".

How do you hoax 800+ pounds of moon rocks studied by thousands of scientists not only at NASA but all over the planet? Moon rocks built out of crystalline structures created with almost zero water and pitted with micro craters that our best 2011 state of the art particle accelerators couldn't produce? In order to hoax and fool geologists and scientists world wide, which none dispute the rocks, it would be easier to go and get them than to try and fake them.
With meteorites collected from Antartica, or other parts where they drop. If you galvanize them a certain way, you can fool geologists into thinking they never burned up coming into the atmosphere.

I'd say the most likely situation is Nixon had footage shot before the launch in-case things didn't go to plan and when Man landed on the moon the cameras failed or some other technical disaster and hence we see footage shot in a studio.

The employee's would very likely protect their jobs, (and possibly their entire families lives) if they caught wind that the moonshot-landing was a hoax. the launch was real, and orbiting the earth was real, but the astronuats never went into the van allen radiation belts. astronomers went looking for the rocket but never saw it, despite knowing when it took off they had no idea where to look.

@Raider2845 Because he's a ghost, that's why you can see through him. That's right, NASA learned how to create ghosts in the late 60's but were incapable of landing on the moon.
It's called ghosting. The camera used had a very low framerate. When you moved quickly in-front of it, it took some time to update the image, hence, it looks like you can see thru them. You will notice as he slows down, he becomes more solid. When he stops for a moment on the way back, he becomes totally solid.
Early LCD's and low-refresh rate LCD's have a similiar problem. The image blurs.
Agree. It also shows the limitations of the vidicon tube cameras used on the early missions. This particular image also has a light burn on the face of the tube.
One of the problems with putting together any hi-tech mission is technology cut-off. The tv cameras on 11 and 12 were already hopelessly out of date by the time they launched.
Yup, by the time they had put them thru test and test, and made sure they would work in that enviroment, and that they could survive launching and reentry (if I remember correctly, some of the cameras were stored in a container outside of the LEM on the way there) they were outdated.
@hemrylow The engines did not have to be that powerful once they were in space, a small push goes a long way. Most of the fuel and power was used to get into Earth orbit, just like with the Space Shuttle.

The only possibly compelling reason to return to the moon would be for long-duration missions to mine Helium 3 or do astronomy. The lunar photographs were exposed for the brightly lit daylight surface. A daylight exposure on Earth at night would not show stars either because they would be badly underexposed. Similarly, the astronauts did not see stars in the lunar daylight skies because their eyes were adjusted for the brightly lit scenes around them.
Do some research since you have so many questions. Its not that hard to google.

I can't see the bottle, but if it IS there, there's a fully natural explanation:
The videosignal was of narrow bandwidth, not compatible with broadcasting TV signals. Therefore, the image was put up on a monitor and a broadcasting type camera filmed it from the screen of that monitor. That's partly why the image quality is so poor. And, if there is a Coke bottle, it is reflected in the screen of the monitor from which the sceen is filmed.

Ask anyone who knows about the 60's TV technology. I've worked with it, but don't take my words for it. Ask around. "Ghost pictures" were common during the analouge days. Especially if the signal was "weak".

the raw footage that was recieved in a distant location in austrailia showed a physical coke bottle and a person wearing a TENIS SHOE that kicked it out of the scene. also, there was one camera on the lander, and on the chest of each astronut, so... who is the reflected shadow taking the picture of two astronauts and the lander?

It's called ghosting. The camera used had a very low framerate. When you moved quickly in-front of it, it took some time to update the image, hence, it looks like you can see thru them. You will notice as he slows down, he becomes more solid. When he stops for a moment on the way back, he becomes totally solid.
Early LCD's and low-refresh rate LCD's have a similiar problem. The image blurs.

Agree. It also shows the limitations of the vidicon tube cameras used on the early missions. This particular image also has a light burn on the face of the tube.
One of the problems with putting together any hi-tech mission is technology cut-off. The tv cameras on 11 and 12 were already hopelessly out of date by the time they launched.

Yup, by the time they had put them thru test and test, and made sure they would work in that enviroment, and that they could survive launching and reentry (if I remember correctly, some of the cameras were stored in a container outside of the LEM on the way there) they were outdated.

@hemrylow The engines did not have to be that powerful once they were in space, a small push goes a long way. Most of the fuel and power was used to get into Earth orbit, just like with the Space Shuttle.

@hemrylow Sorry, but I grew up listening to Saturn F-1 rocket engines being test-fired in Southern California (and witnessed one of them). I was amazed the entire test stand didn't move, along w/ the mountain it was butted up against. Those engines DEFINITELY were 'mighty enough'.

I was 4 at the time. Some of my earliest, fondist memories were walking down to the beach(Cocoa Beach) to watch the Apollo launches. Now maybe somebody pulled the wool over my young eyes, but the Soviets? I'm positive that all of the friends and enemies of the US were tracking every movement and radio transmission from Apollo 11. IF the US had tried to fake anything I'm positive someone would have told the rest of the world quicker than you can say Houston the Eagle has landed.

@TheDrac3000 First, blue screening was first developed when Kubrick was a child. It's been in use wince the 1930's.
Second, the ghosting has nothing to do with blue screening. You can see the same effect in very old TV shows.

@419Films yes Blue screen was invented in the 1930's...But kubrick took it to another level, as he used Glass with camera's, reflecting the image onto the Background to make it look like it was all One picture...this is why the astronauts are see-thru...because if you don't set the "Glass-Angle Perfect",then you get the above see-thru look....this is Fact...I urge you to look this up...it is hard to find "Now" because the powers don't want you to know this....Peace!
