Saw them play this in '98 and it was awesome. Think it was Starlake. -Kept calling it for all the shows this tour as a joke, and then I was at Raleigh and heard the drumline...boom! I knew what it was right there... My personal highlight of the tour...

RIP Richie, you will be missed.

Based on the date Phish perfromed this, I imagine it was a tribute to the very ill drummer for Little Feat, Richie Hayward, who passed away just a month later on 8/12/10; very admirable. I love hearing another version of this tune, but it lacks all the deep punch and rhythmic articulation from the congas that drove the bass line and the guitar lines. I would have to just call it a great laid-back version of the original.

pretty similar to original live Little Feat version. fun track! funny comment about the drummer, this is pretty similar to orginal drumbeat, very loopy New Orleans style. obviously not for everyone.
