Really Fabulous! I had never heard of Maroon 5 before (I know, I must live in a cave). I went looking for other Maroon 5 covers of Frank and found none. Too bad, for Adam Levine sings this just as well as- or, dare I say- even better, than Sinatra. A really extraordinary performance!

This cover is of the Sinatra version/cover. Arrangement and style are done with Sinatra's swing and style, down to the "mmm"s at the end of the song. Nearly all the phrasing is identical to Sinatra's, with variation in pitch being the largest deviation from his version. Have to make it sound different/your own, and Adam did just that. This is the only Sinatra cover off of that horrendous album that is good, IMO.

Anyone know what band is playing with him? I admit I'll be impressed if that's maroon 5 in the rhythm section as well. And I never thought I'd enjoy what to me had been a "1 hit wonder" band, but I'm not afraid to admit i was wrong. This guy can sing.

I think this is pretty good. Just to clear up a misconception that it seems like some people have, this isn't a Sinatra song. I believe Fred Astaire sang it first. I think that jerome kern wrote it for one of those movies that fred did with ginger rogers. I can't remember which one though.
