@brenda1velez Oh they did in the '90's with a man named Ben Cross playing Barnabas. They only made 12 episodes of this and it was shown at night. I think there was another one done after 2000 but I am not real sure. I just like the original. Now Johnny Depp and Tim Burton are making a movie that comes out this year I believe, but no one can replace Jonathan Frid as Barnabas Collins or David Selby as Quentin Collins or any of the other characters from the original from the 60's.

If I Remember Correctly after Dark Shadows was done and yrs later David Shelby was all so in the 80's Show Falcon Crest or Some Night time Soap Show like Dallas or Dynasty. ( I know he wasn't in those shows but something like them)

I woke up one morning and this toon was playing in my head. I tried to remember where I had heard that tune before. I finally remembered! I had not heard it since I was a little girl!! It was from Dark Shadows! Then I came to YT and saw that it was Quentin's theme. Oh my!! Quentin is beautiful as well as the song!!! I claim him as mine for the eternal!! I claimed him first!!! ;) LOL I remember this show fondly. Watching it after school when I was a little girl .OK, I must go see this again! :)

I was 10 years old when I had my first major "crush" on David Selby's Quentin :-) Dark Shadows was something we'd run home to see after school. Nowadays, it's all about "Edward" and "Twilight." What goes around comes around, eh?

@tallyjean I guess. The first time I saw Dark Shadows was in the 4th grade in 1980-81. The only thing I can remember is it was during the B&W part and Barnabas was bending over something and Willie was yelling at him to hurry up Barnabas they're coming. Now thanks to Netflix I was able to see that part again and now I know what Barnabas was bending over and why Willie was yelling.

This is the same version of Dark Shadows but probably because Quentin's Theme was so popular with everybody that Andy Williams decided to record the song.

Oh My!... this takes me back. I remember being 11 years old when Dark Shadows went on the air. and Quentin Collins became my favorite character. David Selby was just perfect for this part. I just loved Quentin's Theme.

I just started re-watching DS through NetFlix a couple of months ago and had not thought of the series since it went off the air. I was 12 in 1967 when DS first aired and now sitting in the waning years of my life and being filled with these memories, I truly know what a greatly blessed and enriched life I have truly had. I am just now up to episode 624 which is about the time Quintin was introduced. I simply can't wait! My years, 1955 until now have truly been wonderful, sad it takes this

This is a fine compilation; love Andy's rendition. This attests to the popularity of the show. It really was a trendsetter during its all too brief run. I still have my bubble gum packs from 1969 with the postcards featuring Quentin. These pictures look the same. How cool. I love the enlarged pictures that you have here because they show such detail.
